Nah people liked EG. Their rise from bottom-feeders to champ winners was insanely hype as it happened over the course of the year. Some people didn't like Demon1, but most people either didn't care or thought it was mildly amusing.

I still wouldn't call them most beloved though. PRX during that time with Jingg supposedly having to leave for military service was probably even more beloved at the time.

They've been caught up for a while and I've heard some iteration of this take about them rapidly improving and leaving us in the dust every year. we'll probably get to a more equal playing field, but i really don't see any evidence for emea/americas not being able to keep up.

Well 1-3 are interchangeable but true since they're the best from their regions. The rest of your power-rankings is probably about as correct as anyone else's. A lot of these rosters are new and have never seen the international stage in their current iteration since it's only just Kickoff. We'll probably get some wild results.

I'd agree that there are a lot of shit teams in America's rn, but I'm not convinced the teams they DO send to internationals will flub as hard as people think. Most years we have a bunch of more consistent good teams, but not the top 2-3 internationally, but it may be the other way around this year.

Either way, that's just rn. Everything will prob change after kickoff as it does every year. Teams will make changes or settle in and get better across the board in every region. I hope they do, I'm kinda sick of these constant lop-sided stomps in america's domestic matches lmao.

Teams have been able to sign him for a while. It's just a matter of if they think it's a good idea for their brand, if they think Sinatraa in his current state is worth it after having been so long without playing on a team, and if Sinatraa is down in the first place. Most T1 Teams probably don't want him due to both skill and brand reasons, and he probably won't accept any T2 offers so we're probably still in the retirement arc for him.
