Zest will be on bleed

posted 1 month ago

The regular season in EMEA, Americas, and APAC are all dominated by non madrid teams, leading to peple forever calling the tournament a micky mouse tourney, despite being as prestigious as any.

SEEEE

posted 1 month ago

Like in EMEA, where TH and KC played the first game of kickoff and last in Grand Finals, so will SEN and Loud play first in Americas and rematch in the grand finals

posted 1 month ago

Nerves are hard to deal with, but with experience they’ll lessen. I’m not worried long term

posted 1 month ago

ENGH, mCe, Chet, Potter, Mini are the coaches I believe in the most

posted 1 month ago

You’re insane she’s a top 3 coach worldwide with ENGH and Chet

posted 1 month ago

Nah bc if they beat loud here, it’ll be because of insane anti strating, which won’t work against teams like GenG or TH, who will just run over them. It’ll be an individuals diff. I respect a lot of the EG players, esp Supamen, and Jawg is a genuine superstar, but that’s not enough against the other Madrid teams.

I’d say EG could beat FPX or an off form EDG/GenG, but that’s probably it imo.

posted 1 month ago

Frankly I’d be shocked if they played as badly as they did against Furia and C9. They’ve had a lot of time to prep, and the individual ability of all of these players cannot be overstated.

posted 1 month ago

I’d say they’re likely to if they win here. This is for two reasons: 1. Loud has gotten where they are partly by innovating new comps that haven’t been figured out yet (gave them an advantage over sentinels on ascent). 2. If NRG beats SEN, they surely show much better form and strategic depth than we’ve seen previously as SEN are no pushover.

Combining those two, we see that once Loud’s comps are shown deep in Madrid, they will be easier to beat than in this kickoff (not easy tho, they’re still an insane team). Plus NRG must be living up to their players’ talent, and an NRG at full potential is a tournament winning roster. Thus I favor NRG to win Madrid. KC, Heretics, an in form GenG (they just win every aim duel and clutch), are all extremely strong teams though.

What are you talking about 💀

posted 1 month ago

Fuck that guy where tf did scream and nivera go?? Surely they could dominate t2 emea

posted 1 month ago

If Loud win, they get 2nd place at Madrid
If EG win, they go out first at Madrid
If Sen win, they get 4th place at least at Madrid
If NRG win, they win the tournament

posted 1 month ago

Pancada will make any brazil team better rn (yes loud too), too bad he's benchridden

I agwee

posted 1 month ago

Both TH and KC are looking insane, genuinely scared for the other regions at Madrid. So excited to see them all clash though!

posted 1 month ago

Mostly it was strategic, but marteen and narrate definitely pulled some crazy rounds with aim diffs

posted 1 month ago

They’re aim doffing the team that aim diffed Leo, Alfajer, derke, and Chronicle.

That’s for the Statue of Liberty babyyyy

You're the stats andy mr alt-acc-bc-I'm-too-scared-to-say-stuff-on-main

posted 1 month ago

Nah honestly I respect this scoreline bc he went positive in first kills/deaths. He wiffed a bit, but honestly didn't play his role badly. KC's just too good rn

posted 1 month ago

It’s not bandwagoning to choose a team at Madrid to support, it IS bandwagoning to switch if they lose at that tournament

posted 1 month ago

They look really really good, honestly a chance they beat fnatic in the grand final

posted 1 month ago

They’re insane

posted 1 month ago

You cooked

posted 1 month ago

I've been saying this for years. Literally had that whole thread about how calling pros frauds and shittalking teams is not only stupid, but also really harmful if you want said team or pro to perform well.

posted 1 month ago

Bro thinks there’s a lower bracket 💀

posted 1 month ago

Obviously you are unaware of EG

posted 1 month ago

There's no reason why you CAN'T strictly IGL from duelist, just most ppl prefer to do it on something where you don't have to be locked in on your aim all the time

posted 1 month ago

Does he have an 86% deathmatch winrate?

posted 1 month ago

You could also see Ethan Skye, Vic raze, point is they have the tools and it seems absurd to me that they wouldn’t put some effort into that map

Even if SEN is the better team (which is debatable), everyone has to admit that NRG is heavily favored in this series.

Consider maps,

NRG has shown Breeze, Ascent, Sunset all of which they won without showing anything deep strategically. They've banned Bind twice, but likely have something prepped on that map as well.
SEN has shown nearly everything on Split, Ascent, Bind, Lotus, Breeze, and Sunset. They've so far permabanned Icebox.

Ascent and Breeze, the maps that NRG has picked into, were also the two maps that SEN has looked the worst on.

Assuming NRG bans Split, by far SEN's best map, they should be incredibly favored on every other map in the pool. It will be very VERY hard for SEN to win this match, but it's not impossible.

I'm guessing map picks and bans will go like:
SEN bans Icebox
NRG bans Split
SEN picks Sunset
NRG picks Breeze
SEN bans Ascent
NRG bans Lotus
Bind remains

posted 1 month ago

Choose a team at Madrid at least

posted 1 month ago

Sen will NOT ban split lmaooo
and I guarantee NRG has cooked bind, because with Ethan Yoru, Vic raze, Crashies gecko, Demon1 Brim, Marved Viper, they'll be insane on the map.

Here's some better pics:

SEN bans Icebox (as they have every other game, they're obviously not prepped on it)
NRG bans Split (SEN's best map)
SEN picks Sunset
NRG picks Breeze (new comp probably)
SEN bans Ascent
NRG bans Lotus
Bind remains

This map pool is super favorable for NRG imo. They've looked good at Sunset, while SEN has shown almost everything they have on that map. SEN has looked weak at breeze while it's a great map for NRG (and we haven't seen anything new on it). For bind, NRG almost definitely have a good comp prepped while SEN has shown their bind over and over.

It's also possible that NRG go for a Bind or Ascent pick for map 2, either of which will probably also be favorable maps. There's only one map I'd give SEN a definite advantage on, and that's Split.

In short, SEN is already on the back foot, and this game will be very hard (but not impossible) for them to win.

support potter, fuck the org

Imagine choosing this kickoff to switch to turkey 💀

go back to eg, it's where your heart is

posted 1 month ago

Nope we're destined to get a BLG vs NRG rematch!

posted 1 month ago

Lol they haven't been there since VCT started, feels new enough to me. I saw a lot of Demon1, Ethan, and the NRG core last year (minus marved)

posted 1 month ago

I lowkey want sen to win because it's be awesome to see new faces at internationals, but I think NRG has the best chance to win madrid between the two, and I want an Americas trophy.

posted 1 month ago

This shit never works out for TGRD core, I’m boutta just be a prx supporter only

posted 1 month ago

Nah, Aspas, Something, and demon1 are better because they can op as well as they entry.

Illegal, sadly

I personally think s0m is a god flex and can play literally anything at a high level, but he just hasn't proved it in the same way as everyone else on this list. If I was making my god tier flex team, it'd be:

s0m
Chronicle
f0rsaken
Saadhak (as IGL)
Zekken

posted 1 month ago

Nahhhh no way you're saying n4rrate beats f0rsaken after seeing 4 games from him 💀💀
