This guy is the truth huh?

posted 2 months ago

I agree that Sen and Lev are definitely good teams. But they are not the best, and to me that’ll leave an asterisk next to whatever teams don’t make it

posted 2 months ago

You don’t think NRG look that good???

posted 2 months ago

Let’s be real; if any teams other than both NRG and Loud make it to Madrid, Americas will not have sent their best.

Even if either of those teams lose a series in the semis, they are still almost definitely more capable than EG or the Playin winner (probably Sen or Lev)

He’s unfortunately the goat

I feel you, I was their biggest fan all throughout 2022, and now it just hurts to see them not able to live up to their potential. If things keep going as they are, I honestly think they might need to move some players around to inject new life and creativity into the team, and I don’t say that lightly. It just feels like they’re missing some key piece. I hoped leaf would be that, and while he’s playing very well, it’s just not quite working out imo. They’re not going to be top tier at this rate.

Vipers a better agent rn but he can have more impact on sova

Loud vs NRG in the semifinal

posted 2 months ago

Not necessarily, they could also play NRG. Either way, it’d be a super tough match, and I’m not gonna get my hopes up. If they can live up to their potential tho, they will be top 4 in Americas no doubt.

Give me his gaming chair and the monitor distance from his nose

posted 2 months ago

Hard agree. I'd say he's the best duelist in EMEA by a country mile. Derke is the closest, but he's not that close.

posted 2 months ago

Lev is not winning bro, I preded them but that was before we saw Loud. Lev lost 13-3 on their map pick and looked super underwhelming except for individual performances from Aspas, C0m, k1ngg, while loud brought out a completely new comp on ascent and beat a very strong sentinels 2-0.

posted 2 months ago

Not gonna happen bc Loud will smoke Lev imo

It’s actually insane to say it’s “inexcusable” for a team that has never made an international to lose to the last champions runner up. PRX is shakier than they were, but they’re no pushover, and it’s ridiculous to not only expect, but demand T1 to win. I get that you care deeply, and that’s cool, but putting this hate and pressure on the players and team is extremely counterproductive. Instead you should be proud of the form they’ve showed so far, and root for them to play their best next match.

posted 2 months ago

I agree, there’s only been like 3 teams that’ve looked dreadful. Last year there were at least 8

posted 2 months ago

“Because I want my region to prosper”, surely you mean APAC, the region that Korean is a part of. Surely you don’t mean only Korea, which is one part of said region. Besides, why on earth are you getting mad at T1 when they’ve looked far better than they were in the past?

posted 2 months ago

Why are people such haters for zero reason, like get a life bro, you’re not a better valorant coach then him

posted 2 months ago

We need prx to win to see them at an international again

posted 2 months ago

They’re so passive, so scared of making mistakes. Reminds me of 100T of last year but with less individual skill overall tbh

posted 2 months ago

Duo?

posted 2 months ago

Don’t make me laugh, he hasn’t been insane since 2022

posted 2 months ago

It’s not a bad shout but I don’t think he’s on the same level as the guys I mentioned. He’s young tho, could def get there in time.

posted 2 months ago

Im plat 3 we legit could, but ping would be fucked

posted 2 months ago

you're actually iron 2

posted 2 months ago

Saadhak does not lol. He's the goat don't get me wrong, but he's not the type of player this list is for. Ethan and Aspas I agree ofc.

posted 2 months ago

thank you justforthis

posted 2 months ago

That's bc Cloud is a top 3 initiator in EMEA along with Leo and Shao

posted 2 months ago

Wild comps, good mechanics. Less impressive than Loud v Sen and PRX vs GenG, but more impressive than C9 v MIBR and Talon vs TS. I expect Fnatic, VIT, and Navi to look very good.

posted 2 months ago

He really is. The Leo of EMEA.

posted 2 months ago

I think he feels pressure to be a playmaker sometimes, which should def take him off this list, bc the whole idea is these are players who don’t ever make mistakes like that.

posted 2 months ago

I don’t really watch pros play ranked at all tbh, but I get your points. I think my bias comes from his XSET days when he was always just frying. You’re probably right he doesn’t deserve to be up there based on recent performance, but eh I’m committed now

posted 2 months ago

Mako deserves a spot here. Oh and Chronicle

posted 2 months ago

I mean he makes mistakes, so does everyone on this list. I just feel like they’re pretty rare, and 9/10 times he’s making the right decisions.

posted 2 months ago

k1ng is cracked for sure, but yeah idk if he’d fit here. MaKo is the only Korean (at this moment) I can think of who 100% belongs on this list

posted 2 months ago

I considered Stax but lowkey I don’t respect his decision making as much as some other pros. I feel like he has a tendency to die first a lot.

posted 2 months ago

He’s really good, he was saving sen on split, somehow converting unwinnable rounds

posted 2 months ago

I wanted to add buzz, texture, Saya, but I feel they fell too much into the mechanically insane catagory

posted 2 months ago

Tbh I used to be a huge c0m hater, but he’s definitely proved himself recently (since Tokyo really). Idt I’ll add him here but he’s undoubtably a great player.

posted 2 months ago

If I was adding more tier 2 NA players, I’d also want to put Skuba and Verno, they’ve really impressed me. Skuba forever, verno recently.

posted 2 months ago

I love both Prof P and Trent; I was the biggest guard fan on this site for a while, but I can’t add them yet bc they haven’t showcased their play on an international stage (I don’t count Iceland bc Guard in general just didn’t play as well as they could). I really want them to make this qualifier, tho Americas is so stacked it’ll be hard.

posted 2 months ago

I actually love poised, huge respect to how far that guy came with his injuries. I was really moved by his story. He retired tho right?

posted 2 months ago

??? He takes more risks that he doesn’t get punished for bc his aim is ridiculous. Think about every highlight flick (like that 2k on split). That’s not ‘perfect’ play but it works bc his aim is so good. This isn’t a ranking of the best players, it’s a ranking of player decisions. Alfa, Tenz, and something also take more risks just as he does, so they’re not here.

posted 2 months ago

Have you ever watched him play lmaoooo

That guy’s decision making is ridiculous and he has the aim to back it up.

posted 2 months ago

Edited: you right I’m putting him in

posted 2 months ago

Cloud is a really good shout ngl, I did almost put him, but I don’t think he’s at this level yet. Once he gets onto another EMEA superteam it’s all over

posted 2 months ago

Yeah probably, but I feel like he relies too much on his aim. I’ve seen him shoot his way out of bad situations he gets into, but I’ve almost NEVER seen Leo get in those situations in the first place.

posted 2 months ago

Not a bad idea

posted 2 months ago

I did consider him, but I think he makes too many 'plays' to be considered perfect in this estimation. It's good to have players that are able to take risks, but they're not who I'm looking at rn. Marved, Buzz, and Alfajer also fall into this category. Insane players ofc.

posted 2 months ago

Less is a great shout, Saadhak has crazy games but often isn’t putting up great numbers, Alfa is mechanically insane but def puts himself in unfavorable situations (wins anyway bc his mechanics tho), cauanzin maybe in the future, we’ll see

posted 2 months ago

It’s not to soon lmfao he’s been playing for 2 years in tier 1 valorant, and he’s probably the best flex in Americas rn.

And yeah I’d agree
