do you think that flashes would be the first thing to go?

Reason 2: Need to interact with other pieces of utility, shooting dart or prowler/run away from drone or dog

Reason 3: Can give exact information when flashes cannot, which then allows for combination with other utility.

if teams are making compromises for no flashes in order to make a more well rounded comp, could that be a first possible thing to go?

Examples: Icebox meta has not had flashes for a very long time. SaD just played Bind without flashes and won all of their games in the Knights tournament.

it is cope because they have to go thru a 128 team bracket, no team has enough time to counterstrat a team. the only disadvantage they have is a 1 month shorter offseason than most of these teams, but quite a few of these teams signed players in the past month or so it’s about the same level. if SR lose its because they are the worse team.

cryo cannot play raze for shit. zekken is just as good on jett as cryo, so it’s kind of easy argument to say zekken is by far a better overall duelist. zekken doesn’t play chamber so his performance on that doesn’t apply.

idk bro that was pretty similar performance so not at all surprising. A1D isn’t bad at all, jcStani is just at the level of a good T2 pro. A1D for sure more of an average challengers level.

mibr furia are fighting it out for last place, eg dont even have a team yet and kru is probably gonna be mid then not be able to make it in to any tournaments internationally because no LCQ this year. 100T is just lucky they aren’t in another region. I feel like NA might have the most “free” win teams because of either budgeting problems or lack of local talent (Latam), or they can’t find a competent IGL that speaks their language besides saahdak (brazil/sa)

Maryville have signed Aleksandar, JcStani, Ec1s AND MCE. practically have a whole former T1 team with some of the best aimers and a top 5 coach in the world. Genuinely would be surprised if they lost a single game.

Based upon only their contribution to their team and their impact i would say this is probably the best list and this is in no particular order (kinda obvious)

Forsaken (he can literally play any agent and be top 2 in the region and probably top 5 in the world on a team with no IGL. side note: how is this even possible???)
Yay (obvious reasons, he arguably won optic the season by himself on chamber and has the most dominant season even when compared to aspas and tenz
Aspas (also obvious reasons, he was the main driver behind loud and had comical stat lines the entire season.
Tenz (we are comparing prime versus the entire world at the time and he has STILL the best acs of all time at reykjavik)
Derke (maybe not the most dominant prime ever, but was the most impactful player on the fnatic dynasty and was very important to their success.)
Nats (if you watched nats on gambit this needs no explanation, but he would somehow manage to lurk his way thru impossible setups, despite teams knowing it was happening, splitting opens maps in a ridiculous manner, teams were so afraid of his lurks it was like they were fighting against ghosts, then on defense he would get criminal amounts of kills from his cypher trips or holds from viper setups, also to my knowledge he invented the bind a short wall plus orb lurk combo.)
cNed (was the first person to truly abuse the OP on jett and teams had no counterplay to it, which was why acend won champs. For sure a top 3 OP player currently and probably #1 or #2 in valorant's short history, and NAVI were able to win by just putting him on jett despite it not even being meta)
Demon1 (he ran thru the 2023 vct competition, while he might be the least deserving on this list arguably, he did come out of maps with insane first bloods numbers, as well as being able to flex onto astra and brim and still shooting better than everybody else in the tourney.)
Alfajer (possibly the most consistently incredible player, he has been the best sentinel or at LEAST the 2nd best sentinel to Less,who could also be on this list. He was just as important and impactful to Fnatic's success over the past year as Derke)
Jingg (he created the PRX style of run it down W key gaming, he could do anything and he could shoot so much better than everybody in 2022 and it would work)

hard to put on the list but the honorable mentions and for sure top 25 primes at LEAST: Mako, FNS, Leo, Chronicle, Less, Boaster, Wardell, SugarZero, Ange1, Leaf, Cryocells, Heat, Seoldam.

I would say a slot buyout similar to G2/Guard where a org buys a majority or all the contracts to the players, or they promote another open qualifier team. really not too big on an issue, it just sucks that it might end up with all/ most of the OR players not on a challengers team or even a t2 team because so many rosters are set for the season.
