the grand final is gonna be a banger if we're going off of the last time these two played
kind of a dumb take. they both worked equally hard, gx found their footing a bit later in the year (now) and vice versa for bbl.
shameless behavior with the edit but im happy for polish fans and gx so i can look past it
he's a fine igl. just put him on a team with players who will NOT be flexible. it'll force him to run standard comps like 2022 LOUD
i know he's not french but gx has flickless so you got someone close at least geographically to root for haha
this team might make it out of playoffs man. they're like a t1 dark horse type team that if everything aligns will actually do well
talon also got 13-0d by prx last year and didn't win champs. they made it however so the prophecy of 13-0 ----> champs qual definitely exists
i feel like this champs, now that we have all the teams, might be the most competitive champs ever. maybe not the highest level of gameplay overall (2023 or even perhaps 2024 take that crown), but the matches will all be pretty close methinks. should make for a good experience
respect for the last round. at least he gave a funny ending to an absolute bore of a map
its new for this roster
they ran it last year tho cmiiw
we NEED babybay back. he's the savior of vct
am i the only one who actually kind of wants navi to make it as the last team from emea. i haven't seen them look this good since early 2023
luck is always going to be a factor in roster moves. to what degree you never know, but it's always a part of the process. also there's been teams this year that have made bigger changes and seen more success as a result. mibr, leviatan, nrg, talon ( i feel like nrg definitely made a lot of moves this year)
koi has such ass management man. only thing keeping them from being good. if what ibai was saying about 2026 and how they'll finally have the roster they envisioned is true then i honestly dont know anymore. no way the dream roster is monsterrr and 4 randoms + the only coach they should be getting is their academy one
its not that they'll never let him go, its just that they want to continue developing him so that he can be a potential option. if he ends up going elsewhere in a couple years its not a loss for them because he wasn't starting regardless
last time i checked seven wasn't on c9. 0/8
i mean most comments here are just maps, there's never been a 0 kill series before
we have a long way to go before emea is again the objectively best region. TH and FNC need to lock the fuck in, plus i don't have any faith in gx or navi to get a win at champs. our only hope is liquid, or bbl if they can continue this form and qual. pacific genuinely just gaps every other region currently, so its not really fair to compare regions when emea and americas are probably about the same rn. cn is the worst simply because its a less developed region
i can't speak for na servers but for eu plat+ on most servers is regularly not enjoyable teammates
just get shyy to come back. mirada is good but i think going for mostly rookies (considering they'll likely promote neon and blowz) is a bit risky. kru is gonna make moves anyway. should look something like
kinggg
shyy
blowz
neon
sato
kc vs heretics in emea kickoff 2024
shameless behaviour by termi creating an alt account to get talon disqualified
i think its alan lai. he works on vct cn as a desk talent
liquid have to make top 2. if liquid go 0-2 (lose both upper and lower final) then th don't make it
RRQ are definitely not momentum based. they're a heavy anti team that benefits from more time and footage to prep with versus riding off of wins
just more matches to be played so fans aren't left feeling like there's huge downtime between events/off-season. plus it allows teams that didn't do as well (aka didn't make champs) to iron out some stuff
they didn't have a massive falloff or anything like that, they just played teams that had a better idea of their map pool than fnatic themselves did. i don't see how things will get better for their map pool going into champs, but form-wise they'll play fine
my heart says c9, my brain says nrg. both have decent storylines for champs but c9 would prob be more fun to watch even if they'd play worse valorant than nrg on lan due to nerves
he's probably not joining talon ngl, they have a pretty set roster already. they would have to replace thyy or crws and i doubt that's happening. honestly i could see him going to GE since they're supposedly trying to keep the core of their 2025 roster and improve upon that
now if only he did that even remotely consistently. c9 would actually be a dark horse for internationals
look i get that c9 needs a hypeman, but net genuinely might be the single worst player in tier 1. like even zellsis when he wasn't playing too well earlier this year is better then this guy. imagine c9 with a 5th player instead of a sova drone
no point. they should want to get 1st or 2nd seed minimum, and if they ''save strats'' and throw its just going to hurt the competitiveness of the region at champs
we're saying this as if fnatic aren't royally fucked unless they fix their map pool
why did ur 0/8 bait ass come back bro. 100t are getting slammed next match
im not 100% sure but i saw something about marteen's post-match tweet hinting that he might be leaving. avez likely stays but suygetsu's kind of a 50/50 tbh
it could happen but we all know gx are going to be mentally boomed from the last loss and will get obliterated by fnatic. it's unfortunate that their peak was now, with more time like this they prob could have made it but it is what it is
get rid of everyone but derke.
derke
fizzy (senti)
illuri (recon +igl )
suygetsu (smokes, kc roster is prob gonna blow up so he might be available)
sayonara (flex)
coach:
idk who they would get but ngl faded gotta go. the team needs a new environment anyway
look on the bright side, gen g can still make champs so it could be worse
close enough, his dementia made him forget to include the cypher
fns invented the talon haven comp one year in advance. he actually might've been cooking
he should be on smokes honestly. the scoreboard is super deceiving because skuba was the greatest baiter oat half of the game
idk why this is getting downvoted skuba was playing sentinel for cubert and could easily do the flex role between smokes and sentinel that s0m is doing rn
yeah im pretty sure that's right it was end of 2023 to early 2024 that he had in japanese for a bit and then he switched back
wait wait wait were you not brazilian or am i tripping
you're watching champs time kru btw, every team will look bad vs them now
correct, they have to beat gx/navi and they're in
kru players love putting their games in different languages lol, first mazino has his in russian then keznit had his in like japanese for a couple months and now shyy's is in french
