(i am not jamesff, but as teams are now starting to consistently scrim someone has to fill in)

source is via tarik stream this afternoon, imgur doesn't work for me so i just found a video where tarik leaks them (scrim leaks start from 4:32)

feel like the standard set for international events in apac is that the level of gameplay is high. just look at worlds 2023 and masters tokyo

posted 2 months ago

the only reason i could give you is that next year riot will be forced to add more details (finishers, sounds, etc) because they'll want more money

(honestly just get it, prx team did a fantastic job. just look at some of the other apac teams and how they got shafted)

posted 2 months ago

1/8 because there's a target audience for the bait. do better

posted 2 months ago

they aren't even that awful all things considered. its just that jp talent pool is shallow due to buyouts and t2 talent not wanting to join the org (dfm doesn't have a great track record with player treatment). a lot of people in the pacific scene have credited meiy with being a really good player, but hes the only player on the team who is at a t1 level imo. the team is just a remixed CR so they are basically a t2 team

posted 2 months ago

obviously this is a random scrim comp, they wouldn't reveal actual comps for vct like that. also its just a mix of LOUD + last year PRX comp

posted 2 months ago

vit 2-0 fnc (because who honestly wants to see a dominant fnc win, if group a was anything to show people wanna see upsets)

posted 2 months ago

if vit make madrid will he play with them then or will they just play destrian because of comfort? idk how long he has been applied for the visa

posted 2 months ago

i dont think steel was giving this analysis so vlr nrg fanboys could run with it ngl

posted 2 months ago

yeah no its 1-1, i was typing too quickly lol

posted 2 months ago

they were playing really proactively, i think they are just missing a bit more extremities stuff. his calling was fine, and his stats werent god awful either

posted 2 months ago

its a round robin, so the best record team advances. in the event that all teams go 0-2 it will be determined by map and then round differential

posted 2 months ago

gen g all the way

posted 2 months ago

it is weird that riot wouldn't implement it in val since they already do it in league but ig at this point in the scene they don't want to incentivize like that

posted 2 months ago

aside the mass doom posting, these skins could be redeemed by effects and finisher. we don't know what they look like yet

posted 2 months ago

gen g looking good. same with lev, tln, koi (there were a few other ones too that were good). mibr and tl are ass tho ngl

posted 2 months ago

i mean pipson has had decent success, so personally i would look at the players before him. g2 was good for a long team, even despite having pretty inconsistent players

posted 2 months ago

it was good. there were rounds where he straight up just called what a team should/shouldn't do, and it played out exactly like he said it would. good analytical talent to have as a caster

posted 2 months ago

just wanted to make this post to let everyone know that either KC or TH are guaranteed to make playoffs and be one match from madrid, and one of fut or giantx will not

edit: this post was meant to be making fun of giantx and fut for playing awfully, as well as TH not being terrible like people thought

posted 2 months ago

fut tried to be navi (idk how, there's no ange1) by putting cned on shitty agents and running bad comps. they also couldn't shoot properly, so ig it was a rare off-day in that regard. oh, and boo had a life game

posted 2 months ago

really fucked up to say this after they just ended their tournament, but the point is valid. cryo looks the most out of place on this team. asuna is a close second, but his problem is that he can't shoot back anymore for some reason

posted 2 months ago

i think it works super well, hes doing a great job for his first time. on top of that his analysis has been really damn good, so its not like hes just saying random shit

posted 2 months ago

bait used to be believable

posted 2 months ago

i doubt that i will have perfect pickems after the next set of games, but my faith in LOUD was rewarded

posted 2 months ago

i would say secret and global are winnable, but rrq and gen g are prob better by a significant margin

posted 2 months ago

i don't think tex is playing poorly, i think you are thinking 100t are more shit than they actually are. bind was a disasterclass by 100t when it came to shooting back, otherwise they are 100% better than lcq 100t

posted 2 months ago

not gonna try to convince a professional glazer but SEN has a better chance than LEV to qualify at this point and NRG have to beat a team of a higher caliber before people take them seriously. u can go on all u want but until that happens very few people will believe NRG won't crumble too

posted 2 months ago

nothing against 100t fans on this site but why tf is it always 100t games where the crowd is blatantly calling out stuff? maybe im just super unaware but im pretty sure that doesnt happen when other teams play

posted 2 months ago

under this new system of goked and itopata, kingg can actually focus on calling instead of fragging. lev's overall gameplan just looks better than last year ngl

The beginning of Chipi Chapa….

It’s probably some shit with riot’s player contract rules or buyouts, there’s no way either party would stall for this long

I did, edited the comment

Ty, bros 9/28 performance was truly inspirational

The Maryville game was pretty damn impressive tho

posted 2 months ago

Who is bro 💀

posted 2 months ago

c9 has more experience in regards to roles and whatnot. at least for the qual game, c9 takes it

Ranked is different from pro play, but I’m all for foxy9 senti. I think he’s in the same boat as players like cryo who are crazy aimers but not aggressive enough to play duelist

posted 2 months ago

If Kickoff is anything like lock in, BBL are gonna give good teams a harder time than expected. Looking at their roster, which is better than last year, they unironically could make it out of this group.

Navi 2-0 here, but by doing so start BBL revenge arc

posted 2 months ago

Sorry 100T, looks like rito was out to get you this time

posted 2 months ago

ok so someone at riot forgot how to count

posted 2 months ago

koi or th. depends on what koi roster actually is

posted 2 months ago

no way its actually yessirsski alt right. i feel like there wouldn't even be a point in him making one considering how he shitposts on his main already

posted 2 months ago

all jokes aside, i agree with navi, fnc, and fut being clear contenders at tournaments. vitality need to play with trexx before they can be considered contenders, since its a pretty young team. GiantX and TL are super unlikely just because of the previously listed teams and the fact that TL didn't look great during AfreecaTV. GiantX will probably be middle of the pack. since its a decent roster.

posted 2 months ago

another day another awful yessirskiiii cope

pretty sure he's the guy who won the choose an analyst competition that chet announced a while back

posted 3 months ago

u good poge?

posted 3 months ago

he'll still have good and bad maps, but im assuming the maps where he isn't played sova/breach will be played instead, and kay/o is in a good spot meta-wise. fade still in the gutter unfortunately. initaitor list prediction would be something like this (imo):

  1. breach
  2. gekko
  3. sova
  4. kay/o
  5. skye
  6. fade
posted 3 months ago

ethan's probably the obvious toss up, but i honestly think he'll be alright. munchkin and berLIN are my picks to surprise, new Gen G didn't look awful with no prac and as long as FPX don't overcook they will be really good for qualifying to events
