can someone explain to me why they can’t use either one of these systems instead?

1) the 1-0 team with the best map/round differential plays the team with the worst, ie 1. GENG vs 4. BLG and 2. PRX vs 3. SEN. This ensures that no team gets a cake walk (better for competitiveness)

2) no regional matchups are allowed in the first round, ie PRX draws GENG but since it’s a regional matchup GENG gets moved to play BLG instead (better for viewer enjoyment)

Unless BLG beats SEN I’m convinced this was a ploy by Riot to make sure SEN make playoffs at their NA event
