i mean, for most of the time he played duelist / chamber it was really only derke and maybe a one season wonder player who you could put over him. and the difference between them was never that big.

internationally, derke was better than aspas this year (mainly because they both didn't make madrid, when derke was playing like dogshit)
TH is good but it's still too early imo. additionally i think TH is kinda like EG where the quality of the team as a whole is better than the sum of the five players making it. i don't think c0m, jawgemo, or boostio are really s-tier players on their own but 2023 EG was definitely an incredible team. i feel similarly about 2024 Heretics.
i also zekken is def better than jinggg rn but he hasn't been this good for long enough imo. i also think peak jinggg got way more impactful entry kills than zekken has ever done with way less support and setup.
saying kangkang is a better entry pre champs isn't accurate, imo he was always better at holding sites and op-ing than he was at the entry / retake.
aspas does indeed clear jinggg
yeah ngl i forgot DRX didn't win anything, edited my goat in
top 5 players who've never won internationally
honorable mentions: d4vai/mindfreak/something/heat/mwzera/stax
lmfao no fucking way i didn't know there was a player named guardiola on barca esports that's such an insane coincidence
Setoutsumi - comedy / mystery
Annarasumanara - supernatural coming of age with extremely unique art
Ajin - action with incredible paneling
all three are complete
english HL sounds like torture to me (unless its lit and not lang & lit i've heard thats good) i hated lang & lit SL
oxy reduxx verno zander (igl) trent
reduxx duelist main
oxy flex (second smoke / duelist)
zander smokes
verno initiator
trent sentinel (i think he's a good fit)
coach: Engh (i think he wasn't signed atp)
edit: would crash out at lock in, not qualify for tokyo but get top 4 at champs '23 then win madrid (realistically this team would blow up before that point). also im not sure if all these players met the age requirement then too
fnatic if derke is still fragging
otherwise lev
last time i watched g2 was before shanghai and he was kinda ass ngl. people have been saying g2 is really good so i was just wondering if he's part of that or if its just how good the core of that team is
FNC vs LEV/SEN
derke and aspas/zekken drop 90+ kills in a five map serieis
LMFAO the riot devs just like me fr
but it isn't classic paper rex they're not playing at all like they usually do
wtf are these rounds??? they're not playing their style half of them are wkeying the others are hesitating
emea vs emea
na vs na
apac vs apac / cn vs cn
na vs whoever remains
that way the later matches won't have zzzz same region matchups
yeah, after over three years of competition i think it's not really acceptable for players who've been there for so long to play without maintaining their composure.
i think this is true of every player on fnatic except boaster when they're losing i think it really shows in his playstyle and on his face and they play a lot worse as a team
pause so sayf can gigaint into their spawn without any supporting util?? like couldn't they throw a flash or something
it's not baiting if ur last alive it's baiting if you choose not to go in when your team needs you to or choose not to swing for a trade
heretics are better than FNC unless derke is fragging
like 15 kills through smokes and shit from both sides, this is so boring to watch tbh
give me aspas frying people
can you really say EG was the best team of 2023 without a doubt when most would not even call them the best team of their own region before tokyo? Especially when by doing so you place them above Fnatic who lost to exactly two teams (EG is not one of them) in three total series that entire year?
is the low skill ceiling or just the fact that the extremely low number of official games leading to inevitably more variable outcomes?

the OG c9 roster was pretty similar to LEV earlier this year
esports teams dont have the capital to lose for decades at a time like some traditional sports teams can, they're forced to gamble
2.07 rating is insane bro put up prime tenz stats
i think the last time this happened was like early 2023 lol
sideshow is such a great caster he articulates himself incredibly well
bad start to this year but he's finally starting to frag like he did before
he had a flash too thats a vile way to lose a round
6 mollies on their team and i swear there's never any on the bomb
aspas was a rookie at the start of 2022 and won champs
if Gen G win champs this year karon is probably number 1 but otherwise i think aspas was more impactful as a player
i honestly can't believe crws is still playing
i didn't watch stage 2 is he better or worse than patiphan in 2021
fut pushed a main like 5/12 rounds and they're still getting caught there it's actually insane
:( boaster's gameplans haven't been working at all in this map it's sad that derke is actually playing well now
2021 champs for sentinels fans has got to be ptsd triggering it was the start of great senpression
the time is ripe for EMEA to win again (PRX will win Shanghai). I like this Fnatic way more than how they were playing at champs last year - it's way more individual and that's a good thing with their roster.
