You don't get it. GE is a much higher ceiling team than xlg ever showed in this tournament. Simply looking at the LEV or FS game is enough to know that. They just couldn't bring it out today, probably cuz of XLG being their scrim partner and they mightve overcooked some stuff. Deserved win for XLG but GE would've been a better team to be in the playoffs for sure. XLG will be blown out of the water by a more pricipled team, whereas GE has the strats and shooters to punch above their weight sometimes.

Can someone tell me why they lost rather than clowning on them or praising xeppaa, someone give me a technical explanation. As far as I saw, they were trading each other, farming ults, not losing their duels (except fenis), util was fine (except couple of instances, Ethan's omen ult to spawn). Mada and som both popped off. Was fns' calls so bad? Idts. the scoreboard definitely doesn't show that everyone on c9 popped off or something with everyone except xeppa being negative kd

but they still played out the round in the attack half, planting late, waiting for defender push and punishing them. Similar to g2 imo. on defense yes, they would just click heads and take rounds due to firepower

How similar is g2's playstyle compared to fnc's last year? I feel they are really close especially their attack calling. On defence, ig they are just playing good healthy defense nothing fancy.

If FNC's playstyle was solved by everyone by champs last year then how is G2 still holding up strong or is my initial premise completely wrong? i feel most teams even fnc this year had to reinvent their style to be more proactive on attack like EG/PRX 2023 to keep up with the meta.

u gotta understand, once they meet a team which they cant read for some reason or if valyn is having an off day their stagnant, wait for reclear kind of play will be easily punished. Proactive is the way to go
