Poland is one of the strongest Valorant countries no doubt
Ethan, nitr0 and Tarik for sure. Jamppi had a lot of potential, but never got to really play on good team in tier 1.
I watch Valorant more than CS, but you would be lying if you said Valorant events were better in terms of size/atmosphere. Valorant events still suck compared to some other esport titles. I think it makes sense to point out how much better these events are compared to what lazy shit Riot throws at us. You don't even have to care for CS and still watch finals because of atmosphere while you would never do that for Valorant.
Agreed, but I don't think its their fault. Its just that there hasn't been anyone who could be equivalent of Caedral/Ohne in Valorant. Unironically for me Sideshow is likely the closest, but he is working in VCT so that ruins it and he maybe lacks that something that would make him huge. Tarik has historically had the views, but especially nowadays his costreams are so lifeless. Sliggy is good, but too analytical for mainstream and his chat is too moderated/strict. FNS is also pretty good, but he might just start arguing with someone in chat in middle of it or something. Or maybe it just is that Valorant community is also worse than that of League or CS. Feels more young and zoomer brained(NA effect?).
How should have Liquid treated him better? Based on comments, videos etc. he was constantly clashing with Redgar and his calling. Seems like he is the type of player who thinks his way of understanding the game is the right one. We saw this same thing on Vitality. Didn't he even want to be the IGL or I could be wrong? If you have high ego player that affects team environment negatively then he likely should be kicked. There is a reason why he got booted off Liquid and Vitality. Also very typical and telling ego move to blame the org for it. His calling on Vitality was ass and individually he was playing bad even tho he liked to act like he was the all knowing.
Don't like to compare but he reminds me of s1mple and NiKo from CS. Good players but big ass ego that makes them hard to work with.
Not wrong, but at least few people in scene have called Trexx pretty toxic and its very visible on videos from his teams. One of Vitality videos literally shows him being visible tilted between maps. Sure he might have drive and believe that he deserves the best (kind of like s1mple) but that is still toxic for team enviorment.
Every team Sayf is on turns like shit in no time + he has said multiple times that he doesn't want to play duelist. Cutting him made total sense.
yeah from top of my head he has definitely been weak point for TH this year. He wasn't the goat last year, but for sure felt like he fragged way better. Now he is pretty consistently bottom fragger.
I still believe in BBL. But teams like GX, NAVI, VIT, KC, maybe FUT can still take it. Very hard to tell right now as these teams feel bit inconsistent. High highs but low lows so far.
avova used to be good and played chaotic style kinda like ruxic
Sure but I think its bit unfair to criticize Minny as IGL just because he can't get him teammates to close out games. Not sure how his calling actually is, but M8 are constantly so close to winning maps and games against decent teams. Them choking isn't really IGLs problem alone. There are bunch of IGLs who aren't vibe merchants.
Apeks sure, but Gentle Mates? They were literally few rounds away being 3-0 (or potential to). They just choke like crazy.
I think that's bit unfair. You don't lose this type of leads over and over again just because the one player assigned as IGL doesn't "step up and close maps". Its whole team issue,
thats crazy imagine if they stopped chocking
Pacific have good teams like PRX and GENG right now, but yes Pacific as a whole is very overrated right now. People acting like the region is super stacked while none of the rest of the teams have done anything(-T1). Tells a lot when people still shoutout DRX as some contender team while they have looked mediocre since forever. Pacific is as top heavy as any other region right now and PRX/GENG are not some unbeatable teams like we've seen. Like genuinely who is the next team? RRQ? Looked very mediocre internationally. T1? Fell off after Bangkok. I would take team like Heretics or Liquid above any of them anyday.
GE and DRX? lmao. Would lose to BBL like one of them did already and Liquid would roll them
Yeah by PRX and GENG + T1 who arguably fluked. That's 2 teams who could win rn. Rest have not done much or looked like winning level. And PRX/GENG are not some amazing level above else type of teams. Both are completely winnable by the top teams of other regions. Like do you think team like Liquid couldn't win vs whoever is APAC's 3rd best?
APAC is overrated af but Americas isn't looking very strong
Maybe I don't know. But I just find it bit silly how whole Valorant community seems to go crazy over anyone who has slightest of muscle mass. Start doing basic dumbbell exercises and you will see similar results in couple months. But good for him that he goes to gym an all not meant as disrespect and obviously there's also gene difference.
he has never even made it to internatiol event or been on good team. Trexx > and its not even close
Valorant players think that someone flexing their relatively normal sized bicep after workout is buff
+1 most people couldn't care less. If you came here it would be no difference are you from UK or Spain. No one gives a shit. If anything UK is pretty respected country of origin. Like I would imagine Americans getting more "negativity" here than Brits.
He doesn't look very comfortable and just seems bit off/disconnected in my opinion. Sometimes he looks like if he was playing solo and not in comms. Maybe experience or language issue.
Guy had 2 good games on Yoru and now he should play duelist? If he can't play other agents than Yoru then that is his problem.
Well Kajaak popped off in tier 1 so he is definitely better right now. You never know how players end up performing in tier 2. But for me closest comparison to Sayonara is likely Wo0t. Pretty much young player who can flex and has consistently performed in tier 2 and shown bunch of potential. Type of player most tier 1 teams have interest on.
You mean Apeks? They won Ascension and were good for tier 2 due to experience. Don't know the teams he played before that.
Pretty good overall outside of few songs. But overall feels that there wasn't single song that was that memorable. Maybe there will be after listening more, but felt pretty basic Tyler The Creator. Like songs you listen on background.
I think right now its APAC = EMEA > AMER > CN
I think people are coping if they think China is above Americas. They have the weakest top 2/3 and would imagine that being the case for rest of the teams as well.
Not sure if I want to make hobby out of them, but:
I started jogging this year so I want to continue that as well and especially try to continue in winter months as well if possible. Also I suck at skiing so I would want to learn to ski this winter.
T1's win is irrelevant at this point considering that they haven't looked nowhere as good and some could even argue that they just peaked at right time. And how is RRQ defeating GENG in regional match relevant? KC almost beat Fnatic. RRQ looked pretty weak in both Toronto and EWC. And DRX hasn't looked strong this year. They even got booted out of Bangkok and again looked mid in EWC. With relevant showing none of the 3 teams look anywhere near like contenders or even threats. You think teams like Liquid or BBL wouldn't fair against these teams?
Pacific is in exact same boat as Americas and EMEA.
RRQ, DRX AND T1??? Only relevant Pacific teams right now are PRX and GENG. RRQ looked bad in Toronto and EWC and what has DRX or T1 done? Teams like Liquid and even BBL/KC would have no issues matching DRX or T1. DRX even got 0-2d by BBL in EWC.
I think so. They will definitely qualify for Champs. Performance there is so ? and just depends on their form. They could win the event or bomb out. Can't know with this team, but at least EWC win should boost confidence that they need.
What clear issues does Liquid have tho? I would say that Serial was the biggest issue as he was consistently their worst player individually.
Well there is good tier 2 talent in every region. But I have legit seen some people claiming that tier 2 EMEA lacks talent and is in bad spot. Like what? EMEA arguably has the best tier 2/3 talent pool out of any region.
Why shouldn't EMEA supporters be happy and maybe talk some shit? Literally every region does this. Also say what you want about Mickey Mouse tournament, but this event was good showing from the EMEA teams. Doesn't even differ much from Toronto performance if you think about it.
Hopefully. Well Heretics can be anything from mid to very good. Them on peak form can still win events, but they have been very inconsistent. Fnatic has been playing really well and can win Champions. Liquid was already decent and Trexx should be big upgrade in fragging. And BBL/KC hatever are ok. Early to say but currently its looking good.
no, but PRX got ban/pick advantage and just targeted FNC weaknesses. If it was normal match with no advantages it could have gone differently, but that is just how it works.
TH when they aren't facing FNC or international teams =
They signed Xeus tho? And before that Yetujey. Their 2 strongest players and players who are/have potential be top of their role in EMEA. Sure they need to make changes again -Ata Kaptan/qRaxs , but I wouldn't really call their roster building a failure.
Seems like it. They look mentally boomed. Don't even know how they can fix that because its not like the team is super toxic or anything.
NRG look decent, but holy is Heretics looking like ass. They have looked so bad since EMEA finals vs Fnatic.
Sad to see. Genuinely feels like year after year LEC is looking worse and worse. I don't know is the quality just so shit that teams can't improve or are the teams/players just too comfortable and are not even trying to improve. Seems like there's some big issues within the region.
Prowlers are always good, but I think with this map there are so many corners and other awkward places where I would rather control the drone and see than rely on prowlers. Maybe just me. Fade not having to stay still while using prowlers is pretty good tho on this map. And IMO recon is quite a lot better than haunt for most cases. Fade ult is arguably stronger, but it has same issue as prowlers. But maybe this is just because the map is new and doesn't feel comfortable yet.
