purp0 looks insane stats wise, but ssk has shown really high peaks even though he is inconsistent.
The thing with Liquid is that they can just do this type of stuff and say fuck it. They are so good individually from mechanical skill to flexibility that they can make almost anything work. I think its really beneficial for them to try weird comps because they will get more ideas and improve as players and as team. Players will become even more flexible and comfortable on different roles. For example ScreaM could just play Reyna/Jett on every map, but by playing Skye he is improving his agent pool. Its just try and error.
And then they can always just go back to more traditional staff if they feel like it isn't working.
Its clear that Sliggy wants to make this team as flexible, adaptive and smart. And TL is almost perfect team to do that with looking at their players.
Duno has always been one of the weaker players on NaVi going -32 against FPX for example, but lately he has performed well. I just think people saw a lot of potential in Cloud, 7ssk7 (inconsistent though) and dinkzj and thought that Duno and arch were dragging them down. But that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
Why not? I mean you don't really lose anything by showing them considering that you aren't even in a team yet. Post some of them or even potential execute videos on different places like YouTube, Reddit etc. and try to find people who can give their opinions about your executes. Try to find communities that are into that type of stuff. This is where you will gain some reputation, connections and can improve.
Also I think you should approach it like if you wanted to be a content creator. Because in the end of the day its pretty similar when you want to get interactions and recognition. Just pump out good content and try to be active in multiple platforms. Because by doing that you will hopefully gain some reputation and get connections and interest and overall put yourself and your ideas out there. You can even try to title your videos and put good thumbnails that would attract people. That's at least what I would do. Making videos like "THIS is why SENTINELS are the best Bind team!" (they aren't, but just example and you get the idea) have way higher chance at attracting people than just putting title like "Sentinels vs NRG VOD Review". Because I think you should first start putting yourself out there and start building some sort of platform while coaching for amateur teams and getting experience. Just ideas, but that would be my approach, but everyone has their own ways.
I don't know, but some idea: Make YouTube channel where you add all sort of videos that have something to do with coaching. Do VOD reviews and deeply go through what you see, like, don't like etc. Just to prove that you have some ideas and maybe even show these in their own specific videos. You can also do some mental stuff etc if that is something you like.
And after that simply try to join some amateur teams. There are for sure bunch of amateur teams that would want to get a coach if they had the possibility. Just try to approach people in DMs etc. Obviously you most likely aren't going to get paid for long time before you gain reputation, but what else can you expect? And when you start getting some reputation and experience just keep doing same things and maybe start approaching some teams that could pay you or find teams that are recruiting coaches etc. Its just hard grind and luck.
Good luck!
From cNed and Brehze rumors to this KEKW
Mods seem to be really lazy tbh. They could just nuke those copy pastas with simple commands
EU chat is toxic as well, but it rarely goes to emote only mode
Why is NA VCT chat always on emote only mode? What are the mods thinking?
Really hope they don't do that. FPX is finally starting to look good. And their comps have started to make more sense. Hopefully FPX does well and FPX as org decides to keep their EU roster. For orgs you have maybe Spirit or Virtus Pro.
100T getting fked by SAYAPLAYER
nice thanks for this post it really helps me!
My first MMORPG game ever and I have put around 35 hours into it (in like 5 days). Its fun game and combat and stuff feels pretty good. I have no idea what I'm doing, but its fun. PvP was fucking dogshit though. Also the community seems pretty fun and its just fun to talk with randoms in chat (if you are on english speaking server).
Yeah sure man! NA so unique and don't follow any textbooks! Liquid only plays Neon on Haven, single smoke comps on Bind, Acend plays starxo Jett etc. Gambit and FPX just went dank mode on Fracture, but hey they all just follow boring textbooks and don't do anything unique or entertaining!!!!
Also this is funny when NA is arguably one of the most boring regions in terms of comps and stuff. Always playing same stuff with same players on same specific roles. Never flexing or trying new stuff. Or at least not even close as often than let's say EU.
So my point makes sense then. Only thinking NA is more entertaining because the players are more known.
Only reason why you think that is because NA has more known players and orgs. Some of these NA games have been way more boring than let's say Gambit vs FPX, Acend vs Guild or even todays TL vs NaVi with crazy comps.
True, but I think he is too negative/critical while obviously some casters are too hype. You need to find good balance and IMO Bren & Sideshow are almost perfect on this (yes they only casted once, but know from OW).
I like Mitch & Tom, Sideshow & Bren and Pansy & Hypoc. Only problem with Pansy & Hypoc is that in my opinion Hypoc is maybe too negative/critical at times. He is always talking about the negative stuff instead of the positive.
Kind of agree especially if they keep playing these comps. But Gambit is insane team and NaVi is pretty good.
True. CSGO ScreaM fell off when he kept relying too much on taps instead of spraying. In Valorant you don't need to spray as much due to things you said.
Some weird shit like all their comps so far lol
L1NK - Omen
Scream - KayO
Jamppi - Killjoy
Soulcas - Breach
Nivera - Chamber
Some attack rounds were just tragic. All NaVi has to do to deny Breach ult push is just 1 Viper molly or Astra choke on choke point. No Jett or Raze to go in. And their defense just looks weak.
Olavo "heat" Marcelo is a Brazilian player who currently plays for Keyd Stars.
It is pretty hard when you have 100 things in your head and pressure. Its understandable why accidents like that happen.
Or maybe Riot should just fix it. Cannot be that hard... These guys most likely do it on ranked all the time, so its not surprising that they end up abusing it on officials.
Keloqz most likely jumped on top of C box without updraft. Pretty crazy that Riot haven't fixed that yet.
Ehh he looked pretty uncomfortable on Jett and was pretty inconsistent.
Chamber, KeyO, Skye, Neon, Astra on Haven wtf
Bonkar would eat Bonkers alive
DONT ANSWER!! NEXT TIME SOMEONE DOES "GUESSING YOUR FAVORITE TEAM" THREAD THEY WILL JUST GO TO YOUR COMMENT HISTORY!! ITS A TRAP!
Oni Phantom. Prime Phantom will take some time to get used to IMO. Same thing with other "slim" Phantoms like Protocol, Singularity etc. Just tip, because I had trouble with Protocol Phantom after using basic and minima. Its just placebo, but real thing.
I'm rooting for TL, but I want to see good gameplay from both teams.
this dude steals jett from cNed and force cNed to play chamber as a lurker...their champions winning was a fluke, cned should have left these noobs for an NA Team cause now they started to take advantage of him and forcing him play some bad agents #justiceforcned
Sentinels fans down bad when they get hyped for winning 2-1 against Knights kekw
Gambit - played pretty well, but looked little lost on Icebox (attack especially). And Fracture was just chaos and duels from both teams.
FPX - actually looked pretty good. Their individuals were winning duels and their teamwork looked good. Looked promising.
Guild - looked good. All of the players were playing really well individually and as a team. Russ was popping on Breeze, Koldamenta on Fracture etc.
Acend - had rough attack on Split, but made comback on defense really good Omen Split gameplay. On Breeze they were playing Kiles on Astra and cNed on Chamber and that wasn't really working. It wasn't bad bad, but Guild with more traditional Jett comp were just better. On Fracture Acend just went crazy mode and played cNed Chamber, starxo Jett comp and it looked really bad from them.
But all in all both Gambit and Acend still looked good, but weren't having their strongest games and both FPX and Guild looked good and promising.
Might be "tier 1", but team like Sentinels shouldn't be losing to them if they want to achieve anything this year.
Acend kind of needs it for their comp though because Kiles is playing Astra instead of Cypher/Chamber.
NA only uses op agents while EU wants challenge this is why EU > NA
Leo Viper wasn't really hitting, but Guild has trouble in CT overall.
Omen is good if you want to control sidelines. And Acend works a lot on sidelines, so it isn't bad for them. In the other hand you have teams like G2 who play mid with Omen and that is just bad.
What? D3ffo is great Jett player who can play rifle, operator and knifes really well (one of best rounded rifle/op/knife players IMO). Its just that Gambit doesn't need crazy carry Jett. D3ffo has never been the star player of Gambit and that's fine. He is still insane and does his job well. Also he has good Raze.
FPX actually looks pretty fucking good. Individually and as a team. Liquid must be shaking right now with Gambit, FPX and NaVi lol
