yea it was leaked that bonkar wanted to drop fns but 2 of the NRG players refused to let that happen (1 was definitely s0m, my guess is the other was Ethan but idk). so instead of dropping fns (which would also make s0m and Ethan leave), they just dropped bonkar and verno. they thought it was easier to drop the new player and coach instead of 3 players but clearly it wasn't a great choice
