valid tbh, the top 3 teams at Bangkok all had insane fragging igls (stax, valyn, nobody (I think)). era of big brain no aim igls is completely gone imo. reason vitality fell short even tho everyone predicted they would win is bc sayf (igl) had a few terrible maps (kicks played pretty eh too tbf tho)

his aim is so shaky he's def extremely nervous and different when he was a heretics sub bc no one had any expectations for him

if liquid win and go to playoffs thats actually an insane run, no one thought they would even qual here over heretics. I hope they win and continue the run

xeppaa is like asuna, both 100t and c9 have consistently achieved nothing and have made so many roster changes. the only common denominator is xeppaa and asuna for the 2 rosters failures. to be fair they have both looked pretty good in their matches in kickoff tho

i feel like this match is not nearly as close as the score seems. its taking an ABSOLUTE life game (more like life half bc he stopped shooting after he was 14/4) out of mako and THEYRE STILL TIED. on top of that benjy is playing the worst hes played BY FAR in the entire tournament (look at the stats if u dont believe me), and woot is having pretty bad health and wrist issues. heretics have also choked so many rounds on icebox (the mako ace (2v5?) throw, somehow letting flashback stick vs 2 people, etc) and have been playing very sloppy this whole series. i think the nerves are really getting to them and it makes sense bc theyre al like 18/19 but DAMN this has been chaotic to watch. if heretics and drx faced off 100 times i think heretics would win cleanly 85-90. just my take though

edit: as soon as they stop trolling they win 5 rounds straight (and 8 out of the 9 last rounds)

i'm not saying lakia is a bad player at all (he clearly isn't given geng almost won 2 masters in a row) but he does objectively have bad aim, he's gone -23 and -21 in his last 2 series. -44 in 2 series, regardless of any role or most circumstances, IS objectively bad, and now they are out of the tournament because of that. also when you think of clutch players or players with the x factor to just magically get 2 or 3 out of nowhere and turn the round around, lakia probably is not the first to come to mind

i agree the midrounding is absolutely awful especially on defense, on haven there were legit like FOUR rounds where geng walked up BOTH a and c when 5 sen players were alive, like literally where are they???? 5 b???? clearing their own spawn??

if lev was always losing games where aspas went like +20 or +30 then that would be a valid claim but they literally havent dropped a map outside of today, so safe to say his "playing for kills" is working. also not all players have the ability to kill like he does, imagine if c0m tried playing like aspas and "played for kills and never tried winning rounds," he would drop nowhere near aspas's numbers

well vic and crashies are a packaged duo so they wont leave each other, therefore its either -crashies - victor OR -ethan -marved (demon1 has to stay coz no one else can duelist). not sure which duo is better

Realistically, fnatic should NOT drop more than ~15 rounds. boaster said he feels confident they can beat both geng and sen (imo both decently better than heretics), and heretics literally have 2 subs and are still a rookie team. if they lost it would be as surprising as dfm 2-0ing someone like nrg LOL (but I would love to see it)

oh for sure, I hope he does great too. I can tell he's extremely passionate about the game and wanted to win, but 4 kills in 3 halves combined as a Brazilian prospect has to be in the same tier as redgars 8/34. nonetheless I think he will surprise many people
