The org itself is also more respectable, especially compared to other NA orgs. Nadeshot comes from a pro gaming background in COD and has generally had less negative media/interactions with players and the business side of esports ie: G2, Optic, C9, EG...........

The issue with the format is how non-competitive it is. Riot basically decides who qualifies for Master's Shanghai based on the group seeding. How do you settle a tie between teams in different stage groups? It is not possible to know who the best, 2nd best, 3rd best, and 4th best team is in each region if we hand out points and qualifier spots before the individual leagues are finished playing. This is how every playoffs in the history of playoffs has worked: YOU FIRST COMPLETE THE REGULAR SEASON.

I am not asking for more games, just a logical format that rewards the best teams instead of this bs.

Dividing the regular season into stages makes no sense. Just move Shanghai back a few weeks and extend first Stage into a full 10 match season. LCQ after Shanghai EZ

My main issue is dividing the season into Stages and using each Stage as a qualifier for Masters Shanghai and Champions. This is just an uncompetitive way to select qualifiers, I want the top 2/3/4 out of 11 teams that have played each other and shown their relative strength. Ie: Groups in Stage 1 are bad, a Mid team ends up winning an easy group and qualifies while a better team in the more competitive group stays home. This problem would be completely avoided by not dividing the teams into different groups and not dividing the season into stages. All 11 teams would play each other and there would be a way to compare every team against each other. How would you tie-break for teams in different groups with the EXACT same record? Flip a coin? The only competitive way to select qualifiers is for each to play each other before Master's Shanghai and Champions.

Every other org in NA is broke, but EG had the best chance out of all of them to maintain their roster. Players wanted to stay with a winning team plus they got 1 mil more than any other org.

The only positive about The Guard roster not making tier 1 and Riot fucking them over by just deleting their ascension win is that now there is an absurd abundance of FA talent in NA. I cannot wait to see some of these players sign to other regions and absolutely body them like the frauds they are (FNATIC + PRX not included). Sorry not sorry, get used to NA winning every region's trophy.

We want 11 teams in Americas. More specifically, we want the roster that won our ascension tournament. I honestly don't see why a few people are pearl clutching about an org buying a tier 1 roster. The org/team name/branding makes no difference to me. The only criteria needed for Guard Roster new org is 1. Org wants a tier 1 valorant team 2. Org can afford tier 1 valorant team. From there it should be up to the players and coach which org they choose to represent. Reminder this isn't a spot for life for the org or the players. So even if "buying a slot" is bad to you, it's not a long term deal, it's more like renting a spot. There should be no mention of precedent, The Guard Org and Riot both screwed up this situation royally. This is not comparable to G2 trying to get franchise spot. This is a "guest spot" as Leo Faria said previously.
