I think the problem is more that they have had issues trying to figure out what comps to run, especially switching from zjc back to jieni7 again in the middle of the split. They’ve ran several different comps on different maps to varying success. They probably need the longer offseason after champs to really figure things out
He’s been playing better recently at least
Oh ok I think I understand. Basically, they were originally an org focused on Indian talent (or talent from that region) and kept losing, so now they brought in all imports and still suck. They’re basically just a bad Korean team now in terms of player nationality.
If you’re saying that the org completely mismanaged their fanbase and support, I 100% agree. No team should alienate your native fans, even if it may be more successful. Even if it works better nobody will be there to cheer the players on.
Is it possible for DFM to land in 4th in the group if they lose?
Can you explain more why GE gets so much hate and by who? I just don’t know much about it but I’m interested
If they really want to bring in both Neon and ghoul33 then they need one to convert to a smokes player and play double duelist on every map. It’s certainly possible, but I don’t know enough about the team to know how that’ll work
With mechanics like his, he should look great on any duelist
His Jett on icebox looked great too last time
Something is not dumb, he just takes more risks sometimes. If you actually watch his Yoru, like vs FNC in Toronto on Lotus, he knows how to play out mid round and postplant situations way better than he used to. Listening to PRX voice com throughout Toronto really shows how smart he has become. Now he’s been incredibly consistent in stage 2 (top 3 rated player)
Unfortunately Talon’s first playoff matchup could be really hard. Nongshim is probably the easiest possibility and they’re pretty decent
Nobody is saying that Lev are suddenly gonna make a run through playoffs to champs, just that Sato seems to be an incredibly gifted player. Dont know why you gotta be such a miserable person
Both DRX and Talon are cooking this split though
I think that guy just doesn’t know what he’s talking about, he’s lobotomized
No idea, but the person I usually think of as being kinda similar to his playstyle is prime TH Riens 🤷
All the Americas teams outside of Sen and G2 are super inconsistent. On any given map 100T, NRG, Lev, etc can look great, and on any given map they can look clueless
I don’t want to be too reactionary, but Sato legitimately looks like one of the most talented rookies we’ve seen in a very long time. I mean that 4K near the end of Haven was SO fast. I’m struggling to think of another rookie that looked this insane this quickly, maybe Karon for GenG?
Anyways, I hope Lev somehow make it to Champs just so I can watch Sato play against great teams in other regions.
I’m sorry but if you’re a good duelist then even with poor team support you should look better. Even ignoring his stats he just visually looks bad
Virtyy is clearly better I agree
He won’t be around after this split
Watching him after how he played in Toronto just makes me sad
Even if you wanted to replace Zellsis, who would you even consider?? There’s no obvious upgrade you could make
No he obviously isn’t. But he’s not anything special that’s for sure
No sports league operates like that. You always want a strong veteran presence to help the rookies learn how to play and function in the environment
It could be the same issue that NA league has had where teams would rather make “safe” roster signings instead of taking risks on unproven talent, all in an effort to keep their jobs.
I mean look at Pacific for example. This year there have been so many standout players that were not well known or highly regarded last year (fresh talent). Some examples are Patmen, Hyunmin, Jemkin (joined 2023 but took time to develop), UdoTan, etc.
Literally every Americas game is a clownery, outside of maybe G2 vs SEN
I’m not sure about that, but I do think people underestimate how good China as a region has become. Sometimes it feels like everyone forgets that a Chinese team has placed 1st-3rd-3rd at the least 3 international events
Why do people care so much about this player
Batu breaks kill record on Yoru and Apeks lose 1-2
Dumb take
Insanely important matchup for both teams, loser has their chances of making champs go way down
Their bind attack didn’t look good either, they got bailed out several times by Alfa just aim diffing people
FUT lost to Vitality….
Man I hate that VIT bind comp
This could be a funny match at least
EDG just looks poorly coached. Watching their Lotus against BLG was painful. EDG was allergic to taking A rubble control on attack, then got caught out by BLG’s predictable aggression over and over
Genuinely no idea what to expect
If they want to have any chance to make noise at champs then Chichoo has to 醒来 real soon
He’s been having a terrible split though
Wth has been wrong with Chichoo, he’s losing every fight and making dumb mistakes
This feels like a banger
Most rational Sen fanboy
Idk what game you were watching but individual firepower was not why Wolves lost, it was because of terrible ideas and head-scratching decision making
