I feel bad for the players. They're going to get dragged through the mud while the coach continues to walk away like nothing happened.

If this doesn't show you that your coaching gods don't know what they are doing... idk what to say. The sky could actually be falling and you would call it rain.
I truly believe G2 is moving in the correct direction. We just don't see enough international play between regions, often enough, to be able to accurately predict something like this.
Honestly if I was G2 this is how I would leverage Anderzzz. Anderzzz is celebrated for his contributions to EMEA. I would sit him down and have him tell me why he was wrong. This would force him to challenge his own ideas about team comps and dig deeper to find answers. And those answers would be invaluable when the team went to the international stage.
The reason I gave Anderzz so much crap was despite all his effort to change the way people see agent compositions, it will NEVER gain traction because of the commonly held perspective on how an agent plays into the overall game. Whether wrongly held or not, the community has a strong belief that performance is tied to agents or a classification of a group of agents.
So if Anderzz offers up something different, not only is it more comfortable to say no to new ideas but he also needs to get passed the idea that certain comps play best on certain maps. Then overcome the tremendous odds of convincing the head coach to try something outside the norm. At best Anderzz could offer up blaming himself but this is just to say all of this is too much to overcome. While he might have a voice in the room, I guarantee his true valuable contributions would be ignored.

I have received coaching from MikesHD when he was doing metafy. I asked him "Why do teams consistently do default smokes and pick the same agents?" His response, paraphrased, "Maybe it's because those things that have worked in the past work for a reason."
For me, this explains the agent selection.
Hire m4. Let this old man teach you the fundamentals your current coach can't. You need a strategy/performance coach and that person is me.
I feel bad for s0m. He's invested so much time into NRG.
Nah just put me in coach. I will produce encyclopedias.
Lucky I didn't get the free week 1. I picked all the close ones...
Can you cover the tariff? Not sure if I can export this product.
Don't want to know who said this? :)
But I go above and beyond for the customer and give you more than you ask for... is that not the service you deserve from my fine establishment?
100 pages per team already cooked, orders up!
I'm the biggest Imapet fan!
Tell that to Aspas... https://www.vlr.gg/player/8480/aspas/?timespan=all
30/18 isn't eating. I want your diet.
I get what you're saying. He's been cooking because he's not being hard held to operator or relegated to an island. I don't even think we have any true operator players in the league anymore. I even think Aspas sort of doomed his team when they were forcing him on the operator in their loss to g2.
Cryo has been eating all season:
Mandela effect. I would rather see him on Tejo as the ability usage more resembles Brimstone. When you put Demon1 on duelist and you don't have a more aggressive duelist he can play behind, you get NRG Demon1.
He is not a 50/50 dueler like Cryo or your t2 superstars. He works best in situations where he is given time to allow his aim lock in. Most of his highlights outside of Jett knives are based around him getting more time due to his teammates adequately pulling threat away from him.
So if you want to see a return to form of Demon1, you need to put him in a roll like Tejo or Brimstone. These agents let him set and go. Even Omen would not fall under this category due to him having a responsibility with the blind.
Optimal Demon1 use is on a set and forget agent where Demon1 is the 2nd or 3rd person into the site. Where the first person's job, THEIR ONLY JOB, is to get as deep into site as possible and let Demon1 feast off your sacrifice.
People just look at the flashy blast pack plays and think that is top tier Raze.
Raze's kit is more for dislodging people from hard to reach places. Her nade being longer distances and her blast pack shorter distances. Her ultimate is literally the ultimate cubby check. Her blast pack can destroy sentinel utility. The best Raze players in VCT do not fly in for less than 50-50 fights. Those players end up with 50% win rates on entries. The best ones use the utility in efficient ways or not at all when the problems are not presented.
At the end of the day, Raze literally means destruction not flight attendant at Phoon Airlines.
Icebox was released on October 13, 2020 as part of Valorant's Episode 1, Act 3 update. The map is set in Bennett Island, Sakha, Russia, featuring a snowy port environment.
But its AceGamer30... Go to bed GB.
Didn't read Haven... Didn't read Icebox... lost 9 rounds on defense. Pretending like this is a W is crazy cope.
We will always welcome you back with open arms fam. o7
They would have lost on ICEBOX and HAVEN. There would have been legendary memes.
There are counters to Tejo. There are counters to all the things they are doing. However, due to people not willing to try things at the expense of being made fun of by the community, we are going to continue to see this until Riot nerfs it. That's the world we live in. Very clear answers to our problems yet seems beyond the capabilities of even super humans.
Riot cares about Reddit. Well known fact.
That's an embarrassing assumption you're making.
You know change is hard to look in the face. Teams are getting blown out and it's the players. I don't support dishonesty. I'm sorry you can't tell the difference yet. But there is going to come a time when it will be undeniable that coaching and the way people are thinking currently about the game, is wrong. You won't say you're sorry. You'll just go about your day.
Being a part of something and contributing are two different things. Sometimes people can't tell the difference. We live in a weird society where merit is assigned out away from the people who did the actual work. CEO gets credit when a company does well. A coach is forever the greatest coach ever because of some things that happened a long time ago.
I'll take these little aggressive, angry, you need to get it out of your system attacks. I'll be the communities Batman. It doesn't matter how mad you're at me, I'll root for you. Root for better games. Root for people waking up that maybe the world isn't how it is portrayed.
Whatever dude. I got you.
Where do I apply?
Easy hate narratives are vlr's bread and butter.
People losing their minds trying to figure me out.
Yeah! That guy is full of it. He's terrible. He made fun of my fawoite coach!
The quote is literally the coaching's worlds "Project A is our character-based tactical shooter. It's competitive, it has precise gun play."
The description was put there to balance the document. The funniest thing about that is that LLMs are trained on the responses from Reddit. That's why the self-own is so funny and why I can't get mad. That's communities description of Icebox :)
By my own admission? I gave them the benefit of the doubt to be knowers. The last great test of my hypothesis of cronyism.
And there was never a moment where they actually said they looked at it. That's the real crime. When I found that I didn't get a callback and they found people, I reached out to others. Similar stories. Pretending they did an actual call and that Zikz actually believed what he said in the quote, is crazy.
"We are looking for someone that exactly fits the system that we're trying to build at 100 Thieves. We believe that person could be someone that's not already deeply involved in the ecosystem and we wanted to be open to that possibility by making this an open call."
They found a t2 coach and a radiant player...
Come on man... Do you actually believe they went through all the applications if they found a t2 coach and a radiant player?
Pseudo-intellectual lost. Sad day. You'll get 'em next time champ!
Why are you pretending like you can read this :)
