Dont get me wrong, I have been the biggest Lewn and BBL believer since offseason but xeus is simply generational, he is not just flashy he is incredible, I would argue Lewn has made a huge step forward in terms of not overheating recently, looks way better now compared to the start of the season but even as his biggest believer I cant lie to myself and think he is better than Xeus, Xeus would be like Messi for me and Lewn is Neymar, both are goated and on his day Lewn can be better but xeus is just something out of this world

thank God we humans have eyes and can judge players not only on rating from a limited period time, if we are gonna talk about rating he was awful last year and he was pretty mid in the ewc qualifier, sorry but you are clueless if u think he is a star duelist or can be compared to xeus or comeback

u are braindead if u think marteen is a star duelist

marteen good player, mediocre duelist, KC needs a worldclass duelist like xeus or comeback to step up

also I dont think Pacific esports have the money to run a t1 team, it was rumoured last year that they would not have been able to ascend even if they had won

posted 1 month ago

Better for him, he should have left that team even if they make it to t1. Loita, lar0k and Comeback all deserve to get opportunities in top EMEA teams not be stuck in the next apeks, gentlemates would have been a dead team even if they ascended because at least comeback and lar0k would have been stolen by other teams and replaced by bums not good enough for t1

posted 1 month ago

its disrespectful to comeback to be compared to a "primmie"

posted 1 month ago

not in terms of fanbase but this KC team is dogwater, unless they get a top tier duelist they will be stuck in mediocrity so comeback being a top tier duelist can choose which team to go to, he will make either qualify to internationals/compete for titles as long as he has a good enough team around him, on paper there isnt much difference between KC and M8, KC have all the pieces ready to win except the duelist but I feel like M8 have two insane players like Minny and Veqaj so they will be able to attract a good IGL/5th

posted 1 month ago

https://x.com/BBLReactions/status/1938912803156566425 Shit is funny, cant blame comeback tho, gentlemates has a huge fanbase and its one of the best run orgs in Europe. Minny, Veqaj and Comeback is a pretty good trio so u just need a serious coaching staff/igl and 5th, u get a good team and probably a really good contract. I dont see many options in Europe where he can join a top emea team with an existing core, Liquid/KC would have been his best options but I feel like Liquid is the only one that would be worth waiting for of the two, u could probably build a team better than KC at Gentlemates

Good luck but looking in vlr for other females to get into a team is probably not the best way to look for a team. Try to get into competitive discords or use twitter

posted 1 month ago

The viewership is not great rn but EMEA t2 is producing the best and most amount of talent in the whole world. Comeback will have his debut in stage 2, Sayonara next year, GSR in the future and hopefully Leo coming back will increase viewership. I think there are many insane players being promoted into EMEA t1 rn so the level is slowly getting better, its just on the teams rn to use that individual talent and create top teams and not just collecting stars without any structure or caring about team building like Vitality, viewership will get better once KC/KOI start being serious and guys like xeus, comeback, gsr or sayonara grow into stars that even fans from outside EMEA want to tune in to watch

salaries used to be crazy but they have gone down a bit after covid so at least 50k if you are donk, zywoo, niko or someone like that and probably 15-30k if you are a t1 player, players do earn ridiculous amounts of money from sticker money, they get a % of the part valve gets everytime one is sold in the community market, probably makes them close or above 100k from just one mayor and 200k if it was a strong major in terms of sales

posted 1 month ago

I have called for his retirement after every single international event for years including Toronto but if we are being fair there is a different Boaster pre g2 and after g2 even if stats dont neccesarily show it, those with a functioning pair of eyes could tell that he felt much better individually from the g2 game onwards, sadly for him its still not enough at this level. I dont think he was that crazy in EMEA either, he was just barely functional but still way below what the minimun should be for any t1 igl

posted 1 month ago

Depends on the masters, Masters Toronto and Bangkok were kinda mid and held in a small venue, Masters Shanghai and Tokyo were fucking sick because of the huge arenas tho. Champs is probably worth 2 times on average, mainly because there is only one a year not because there are some huge stakes involved for the players like TI/cs major. Would be nice if Riot gave something special to the players to make it feel more special, I dont play League but dont they give a special skins for each player in that game? Would be nice if they did that and had a % of the sales go to the player, ik Riot are rats so they could do it only for a small period of time but it would still be huge motivator for players

"he is a player which brings the fans and crowd" so basically he can perform as badly as he wants because he is a funny guy? personally I just think its pointless to have a player at such a low level in 2025, he could have almost as much impact as a coach and he would be able to choose any player he likes and turn him into the IGL he would want him to be. I feel like what has made Boaster good historically (even if he has evolved a lot recently) is his hard work, innovation and preparation, he is also an amazing human so he would be instantly the best coach itw the moment he decides to retire, he can still be with fnatic but the only thing that would change is that he is not in the server but its not like there arent other good IGLs out there that he could make even better.
As for GSR, I think he is even better than Sayonara, GSR unlike Sayonara is very mature and has the personality of a winner, individual skill they are pretty similar but GSR has the better personality to be part of a winning team and being a good teammate.

posted 1 month ago

just look at his all time vlr stats, those are all from this season, he is by far their best player and if u actually watch him play the talent is clear, its also well known in Europe to anyone that plays in radiant elo that this kid is the next big thing

posted 1 month ago

tbf all of those wins were close, its not like we arent putting up a fight, we still havent seen an all asian final for example, imo champs we (EMEA) have a pretty good chance to win if the stars align and the home factor gives us an advantage, if not this year then I am sure next year we will win some trophies, too many super talented players promoted from t2 not too imo

posted 1 month ago

They have only won championships when he had a team composed of Leo, Chronicle, Alfajer and Derke. Arguably the best player ever in every single role, he still managed to lose one EMEA trophy to a liquid who had soulcas and Redgar, look like a dead team at the most important tournament of the year, lose to a KC composed of tomaszy, magnum and sh1n in kickoff and look inconsistent until Leo stepped down. Before he got quite literally the ultimate valorant dream team he failed at every international tournament only making a decent run at Reykjavík where the level was on the floor.
I dont think its overreation when he is sistematically the worst performer at every international he attends, pretty much always except this last few games of Masters Toronto calls like shit against international opposition and drops disasterclasses in every elimination game.
Lets be honest, his calling is so overglazed and you guys make it sound like he is playing chess while his opponents are playing checkers and no1 can chat to him when it comes to igling which is not true, he has been outplayed many times by other t1 igls who on top of that manage to perform to an acceptable standard individually, if he wasnt a goofy and likeable person you guys would be calling for his game, you all dont care about how he performs as an IGL or individual and will turn a blind eye to his disasterclasses as an IGL or individual just because u guys like him, sadly this is a performance industry and him staying in t1 because he is a big personality is only destroying opportunities for upcoming players who also deserve a chance. This is a performance industry and if u dont like it not my fault

posted 1 month ago

Nah stop the glazing, he has improved his calling a lot but it can be very off at times like the first games this event, any of what you mentioned isnt a valid excuse to not be patitek level at the very least, there are lots of igls out there winning internationals and calling to an even higher level and they still get their frags, also wdym "he is constant macroing his team" his 3 support players are experienced and smart af, Chronicle and crashies arent idiots who need to be micromanaged, they understand the level and dont make many mistakes macro level. None of this is a valid excuse because in CT side where ur igl doesnt need to call he performs just as badly and in T sides he is never first or even second in so he is in pretty good positions to get the kills once they are actually fighting in the site and he is not manipulating rotations anymore, this is valorant and it is an fps where you need all 5 players to be at a decent level mechanically which he isnt from eye test, he doesnt need to even be positive but -30 every big event is not acceptable if you want to win international events, this is not chess this a first person shooter and u win by clicking heads, if u have an IGL who is slightly worse but still worldclass and can frag to a good level like munckin, f0rsaken, stax, jamppi, nats, boo, valyn etc then its worth it, you can also compensate a bit worse calling by having 5 players who can win rounds and not just four.

"he always get s the right call its insane he hits the site with less than 3 and always had the right site preped" this is not even true if you watch their games against geng, rrq and sentinels, the macro and the calling looked so off in those games but still good because of individuals being crazy good, also I feel like Boaster improved his calling after the sentinels game but the main thing why Fnatic looked so much better after that game were because of Boaster going back to his EMEA stage 1 form, he just looked like a completely different player last few games compared to the first ones, using phantom instead of vandal probably helped him and the other most important thing was the micro from players, they were way less scared to take agressive timing, pushes, tiki taka as fnatic call it and basically just play fearless instead of the ultra restrained and excessively disciplined way they were playing at a micro level the first few games which just proves my point, its not so much about macro and playing chess but individual form, good macro is expected for any top5 team itw, what wins tournaments is being in the right individual form, the moment Fnatic started to play more free and letting their individuals play on their instincts they shone, this was a good adjustment from Boaster but its also proof of the caliber of players he has got at his disposal and how blown out of proportion his calling being Godlike is, sorry for too much text but I think its insane how overprotected Boaster is and he is excused for constant disasterclasses because of his calling when imo its not even that great most of the times, its also the same people who then will ask for patitek to get cut when he is doing a similar job in liquid being the glue even if he isnt the igl and his fragging being way better than Boaster

posted 1 month ago

u are not comprehending the point I am making, my point is that Boaster is in in better positions to get kills than CS t1 igls that are considering as bad individually and he still manages to perform worse than them, the agent he plays doesnt matter, its not relevant to the point because its common sense that he shouldnt go first on smokes, the only point I am making is that he is baiting and playing in positions where he can trade and he still cant perform to a decent standard, all I am asking for him is to have patitek level mechanics and perform around that level

posted 1 month ago

the thing is that he doesnt win his ones, all I am asking for Boaster is to be at the level of someone like Patitek, wont drop 30 but he can keep up, get his one and play the game, Boaster moves like a fucking tank, it looks like he is licking walls, perma shift player that just plays so slow, I dont think any of this is getting better at 30yo, the problem is that he is not getting his ones, I dont expect him to drop 30 but he isnt even doing the minimun required for what a low fragging igl performance should be

posted 1 month ago

if u want to I could use a period but when u are reading online in a vlr forum isnt it the same? for me it doesnt make a difference if there is a period in what I am reading or not, its too a big text so doesnt need one since its all the same argument/topic

posted 1 month ago

who knows, maybe you expect Fnatic to plant the bomb every round and have it explode without taking any duels or just making sure PRX who just press W lose on time, since thats unrealistic to happen it means any player from both sides will have tens or hundreds of individual duels he must win in a series to increase the chances of his team winning, not only that but Boaster isnt dying in bad duels where he is sacrificing himself so he can get traded, he gets a lot of favourable duels in which he just cant get his one, no1 expects an IGL to be a playmaker, go through a smoke and get an insane 3k or to just hold a site by himself like nats, just get your one and maybe go slightly positive, slightly negative or maybe -15 if its a bad series, if u go -30 sistemically then u arent getting your ones, it wouldnt even be a problem to have a bad series and go -30 if it wasnt something u do sistematically regardless if your team wins or loses, funny that u say I dont have critical thinking skills while you are presenting no rational arguments and u are just being a fanboy

posted 1 month ago

in order to win games you need to click the enemy head faster than they click yours, as a PRX fan you should know this, 46 on smokes is really good but in order for an assist to count as one you need someone else to get a kill, assists are just a way to make kills easier, what matters are KILLS, thats how u win, its a core mechanic of the game, any strat is just a way to get yourselves into better positions to GET THE KILLS aka more favourable fights, 46 assists, great but he still went -30 and had 87 ADR

posted 1 month ago

doesnt make it any easier lmfao, in CS u need lineups so it also adds complexity and u cant just win rounds by spamming ults if u have a good ult cycle, going -30 isnt excused by bullshit like the game having millions of abilities, u only have 3 abilities in your own agent and tejo has been nerfed to the ground so the util isnt even that opressive in this meta

posted 1 month ago

worldwide there are quite a lot but you cant base your argument around the others being even more shit than you are, what is this thinking of "yeah we might be shit but look at the others they are even more shit", you dont even need to pick up an IGL, look at Jamppi and Nats, both picked up the role and are showing experience beyond their years, being a leader and knowing how to call arent skills that u find only in IGLs, what you need after this year is to have the vision, interview players, try them and try to find someone who is already an IGL or who isnt already an IGL that Boaster can mold, even someone like crashies I feel like he has the potential and they would have a great IGL-coach synergy which would make crashies develop really fast, if u pair that up with Leo coming back and him helping with the mid rounding then its fine imo, I say this because knowing Fnatic there is 0 chance that they try to break the bank for Nats or Jamppi

posted 1 month ago

nice reading cromprehension from you and the subhumans who upvoted you, I used that example to show you that those IGLs in CS get even worse stats than they normally would because they go first and just die for obvious reasons, I am not saying Boaster should go first on smokes, I am saying that even while playing a role that allows him to be alive in late game scenarios in a very dominant team he fails to have impact individually, karrigan/apex could have an excuse if they go -30 which they rarely do but Boaster doesnt, he isnt going in to just die so he can get traded, he is in very good favourable positions most of the times

posted 1 month ago

First international masters, solo and termi had similar stats to Boaster playing for a worse team, those two are coaching nowadays and it would be unthinkable for anyone to suggest that they should be the IGLs of a top korean team, time for european teams to do the same, its no surprise that the region known for playing the game in a cerebral way struggles to produce new top tier IGLs if the ones who should be teaching the new gen refuse to retire no matter how much they are struggling

posted 1 month ago

cant judge only based on results imo, this was a great performance but he isnt getting any younger and the individual level required to stay at t1 isnt getting any lower, ange1 is better than Boaster mechanically and he should retire too, if you wanna win the biggest trophies you need as many little advantages as you can and when push comes to shove bad players sistematically get exposed individually like Boaster did today, Fnatic would still be succesful without Boaster because they have unbelievable players and Leo on the bench but you dont need to get rid of Boaster completely, just turn him into a head coach, I feel like the impact Boaster brings to a team would only be reduced by a small margin if he became a coach and if you do that u could compensate for it with an IGL with more firepower and have Boaster mold him, I am 100% convinced Boaster could turn any upcoming IGL/player willing to pick up the role into a great IGL because remember that he learned how to be an IGL and a leader from scratch, he was never an IGL in CSGO and in the start of valorant his calling and leadership skills were awful, he wasnt born with an insane game vision/IQ or leadership skills but he worked hard and fulfilled his potential, u can teach that imo

posted 1 month ago

should retire regardless and if he ends on a high good for him

posted 1 month ago

would also be better for the region to have multiple competitive teams otherwise u end up like g2 where u dont have great teams to pracc against, having 4-5 teams who can contend for trohpies regionally makes everyone improve
