I'm gonna miss Witz, he really gave a lot of charm to the team's walkouts during Champions. Hope he finds a good team in the Ascension leagues.

Bro, this was an L move for RRQ. KellyS is one of the best players from the PH, and would have been a solid addition to the team. Still, I hope he gets picked up by Secret or another partnered team, 'cause the man can play. Also, RRQ can now focus on unfucking up their roster.

I was not expecting a 2-0 match, but it seems more likely now 😥
EDIT: NOT LIKE THIS ToT
EDIT2: GGs DRX, lot of things that Fayde and the gang need to work on for Brazil. Bootcamp maybe?

DRX vs TS match
EDIT: LET'S GO BANGER MATCH
Hopefully 2-1 for TS (but most likely DRX)

Well, there is a high chance that TS wins this, but it's still possible that they might lose, since we don't know who's subbing and if Fayde's strategies will work. And that's coming from a TS fan.

TS wins this Copium

Sure, maybe their individual performance might be good, but what they truly lack is regional and international experience. It would've made more sense for RRQ to get ONIC and BOOM players, seeing as they've placed pretty high on the APAC scene, but seeing them instead fielding a roster that has only participated in one regional qualifier (Stage 2), it's going to be hard for them to perform well on the international stage.

This makes sense for RRQ probably on a financial standpoint. Instead of making new contracts and possibly paying higher for the biggest players in Indonesia, they're just planning to reuse the PH team and adjust based on their performance. By then they have a bit more leverage to negotiate with players. Still, this is kind of an L move, seeing little Indo representation and RRQ being a PH representative. I hope they do their best though.

Exact reason why I think they should just stick with the OG roster for the kickoff event. But with Witz looking for a team, and dispenser rumored to be next, they probably want to improve on the international stage. Understandable, since they haven't been on the international stage since Champions 2021.

Interesting, I haven't really heard about xccurate until his switch to Valo so I can't say if he'll fit with the current playstyle of the team. There is still the possibility that he joins another team entirely, but it's too much of a coincidence that I wouldn't dismiss him being an eventual PRX member.

Could be possible, but fl1pzjder and blazek1ng are allowed to explore options. Considering their individual performance at Champions (let's just keep that zipline accident in the back of our minds for now), it wouldn't be off the table for RRQ to nab one of the players.

Yeah, he'll probably need time to warm up. We'll probably see him in the Challengers and Ascension competitions next year, then if he shows good performance, he'll get accepted into PRX on their final year.

Things I'm hoping to see:

  • Oceania roster formed (getting more unlikely as the days go by sadge)
  • PRX adds xccurate sometime in the future as sixth member, change in playstyle maybe?
  • RRQ gets best players from BOOM, Onic (eventually copium)
  • Talon builds around XERXIA roster with some players from MITH
  • Secret builds around current roster with RRQ PH or SBE's best players
  • Zeta picks up Northeption players, or possibly some Korean players?
  • DRX no change

EDIT1: changed Oceania roster prediction from T1 after reports, changed Secret prediction, changed PRX prediction, changed RRQ prediction after they announced their roster

I feel bad for the current rosters of RRQ and Talon Esports, but super happy that they'll be representing Thailand and Indonesia. Hopefully Secret can get some of the players from these teams (especially RRQ, they're pretty good in the PH scene)

THEY DID IT, THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS DID IT, LET'S GO LOUD

As much as my brain is telling me "Surely Optic wins this", I'm rooting for LOUD simply because they deserve at least one mega-W this whole tour. Also I just want Rito to stick to the 'one international win is all they get' script KEKW
