Can't believe my worst fears have come true π
TS for sure winning if they see DRX again πππ
TS 2 - 1 GEN
I'm not going to say this'll be a clean sweep, this is going to be a really tough match for both teams. Playoffs chances on the line, I'm going to side with TS if they can anti-strat Gen.G and do their homework, which they have done really well in the past.
Bro I'm dead πππ
Lower Bracket run it is, then π
π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί
I'm just silly like that π€ͺ
I said what I said, I will live and die on this hill π«‘
TS revenge arc, let's fucking go! Haven was absolutely nerve-wracking, but the first half looked so dominant from TS, if it weren't for JessieVash it would have gone in favor of Zeta.
I had my worries in Ascent, especially with how notorious Laz is with his Odin plays. Thankfully, TS came well prepared. Some heroic plays from Dubstep as Jett, the man is goated. However, I do think TS is playing on hard mode here, dragging these maps out to overtime.
GGs to Zeta, they still have a chance in the Lower Bracket. True test for TS will be tomorrow, going up against DRX. I have hope they'll be able to take down the Pacific titans, if they play this really well.
DRX 1 - 2 TS
No, I am not delusional π That TS win wasn't a glorified scrim π Yes, TS can beat the best Pacific team again π Yes, I do think TS is the best team in the world π
T1 2 - 0 GEN
I personally bear a grudge against Gen.G because they defeated TS and only barrly managed to make playoffs because RRQ lost. All I want is T1 to expose these frauds π«π«π«
Then there's no need to buy into it. Why go along with it if you know he needs improvement? There's respectable ways to approach this discourse: talk about his good plays, suggest what he can do better next time. This match against TS, I'd suggest he needs to work on his mental because he was clearly affected when he was missing his OP shots. He also needs to step up as a duelist and try to play smartly, he kept getting picked off when entering site. If he continues to make the claims that he is the best and underrated, that's his problem and should be called out. But if he takes this as a learning step and works on himself, that should be respected.
The man overheated, pressure got to him, happens to players all the time. Even in high-stakes competition.
Y'all need to stop worshipping the man just to beat him with sticks and stones when he performs less than perfection.
Mid-off, both teams lose before match starts
(But seriously, I feel bad for Talon. Lost too many matches before finding their form. Hopefully Lock In wasn't their peak. As for DFM? Well, they were dogshit from the start, can't really say much about them. Just give the people what they want and get an Oceania team so that they can go 0-9 again next season.)
TS 2 - 1 ZETA
I know people really want to see a Japanese representative in Masters Tokyo, but damn it I want to see TS back on the international stage. I really don't want to see them do a lower bracket run, so here's to hoping they'll make the necessary adjustments and antistratting against Zeta.
(orig: Hoping for a Zeta vs. TS match here, TS has a second chance at taking these guys down, and they show that they can very much stand toe-to-toe against giants like DRX and PRX.)
Last match, let's get all dem Filipinos in Playoffs
RRQ 2 - 1 PRX
#VivaRRQ
I'll come back here and say the same thing once that happens π
Guys, don't be hard on Rossi. Not to diss on him, but it's his first year. He definitely needs to work on his mental, each player has gone through it. I felt bad for him whiffing his OP shots, then insisting on it the next round. The man wants to improve, and it's nothing but respectable.
Dude, not only the momentum, after that match they did their homework. True test will be playoffs, where they'll have to adapt quicker.
Came here specifically to say: sit the fuck down kid, go back to doing homework, support your hometeam #LabanSecret
It is very nice to hear kind words from an Indonesian fan. Our people have been known to trash talk each other while playing, so it is a nice change of pace :)
I am overjoyed π₯Ή Thank you for the kind words π₯Ή Terima kasih π€
NO WAYYYYYYYYYYYYTYUFJSJXKSKXAKJXDFISKDJSJFIAJJDSJSISJDHJSHDHSJSJDDJJAJSJ
your script must be shit then
Is this it? IS THIS IT?!
Absolutely. RRQ has been a big surprise this season. I really hope they will make it to Tokyo if TS won't be able to qualify. Viva RRQ!
If you think about it, the possibility of Team Secret beating the next two teams this coming super week are super low, but not impossible.
NO FUCKING WAY RRQ TOOK A FUCKING MAP OFF DRX π³
HOLY FUCK GLOBAL WHAT IS THIS MATCH π± QUACK IS AN ACTUALLY GOATED PREDICTOR π«‘
Well, it was a 2-1. Can't believe it, Dep, Sugarz3ro, AND Laz woke the fuck up this match. But compared to TS' recent losses, this definitely wasn't a fluke from them. They had some great performances in Split and Fracture, especially in the latter where they got to tie it 9-9. But GG Zeta, you guys were the better team π
TLN 1 - 2 PRX
Good on Talon for finding their footing again, but I'm still going to go with Paper Rex on this one. Historically, they haven't won against Paper Rex last year, and I'd say they haven't changed in any notable ways that could counter Paper Rex. But hey, Team Secret did win against Paper Rex, so who knows? Talon might just prove me wrong once again.
RRQ 0 - 2 DRX
I really want RRQ to win this, but there is a reason DRX haven't lost a single game yet, and the team doesn't have the skill and experience to really change that.
Clean sweepable, sure, but I'd imagine one round will go into overtime, and TS' round histories have had no overtimes, as far as I know of (if you know of any, do feel free to leave it down below), so it would be unlikely TS sweeps ZETA.
T1 2 - 0 DFM
T1 isn't as bad as DFM. This will probably be an easy sweep for T1. DFM should really consider doing a roster or coaching change after this season.
LET'S FUCKING GO TALON WOOOOOOOOOOO (this was worth getting banned in twitch chat for trashtalking)
No doubt they're the best in the PH, but in the Pacific region and internationally they do fumble at times. I'm hoping invy and lenne, along with Warbirds, bring consistency and stability to the team. Lenne was good with Bleed, but I'd really like to see how he performs with Team Secret.
Bro this Haven is fucking hilarious π
Damn, TS lost to this?
I wouldn't say mid, but they're inconsistent.
Dubstep's a good player at times, but he is definitely affected whenever the team isn't getting any wins.
Borkum is great at clutch moments, but clutches don't win games.
JessieVash is the better out of all three veterans, but he still has his shortcomings.
Jremy and Invy are what TS needs and have been setting them up for success in their past wins.
In summary, BRING THAT MOTHERFUCKER LENNE ON THE STAGE WARBIRDS SHOW ME WHAT HE'S GOT OH YEAHHHHHHH #LetLenneLead
This is what people said when they played against Gen.G. And RRQ.
Not saying it's a curse, but at this point I don't want to take any chances.
Cool π
I know how the whole pick-ban works, but there always is a possibility that RRQ could be feeling confident and try to ban another map that T1 might be good in. It's just a hypothetical situation.
T1 might actually take advantage of that and go for the Lotus pick, considering RRQ's performance. So it's just a matter of preparation and fixing what didn't work.
ZETA 2 - 1 TLN
As much as I want Talon to win this, Zeta just looked super good these past few weeks that they will ultimately get the win. But I would be super delighted if Talon are able to get their first win here.
T1 1 - 2 RRQ
I am now a firm RRQ believer. Ejay my goat, fl1pzjder my egg, xferro my man.
But in all seriousness, if RRQ can maintain the same discipline and agression they showed against TS, this should be a solid win for them, but T1 definitely won't go down without a fight.
GEN 1 - 2 DRX
DRX are still the best team in this league, but if any team will be able to give them their first map loss, it's probably going to be Gen.G.
PRX 1 - 2 GE
This is a tough one to predict. Even as Paper Rex look unorganized and a bit messy, their raw firepower do give them an edge at times. Global Esports, with Monyet and Texture though, are such good players for the team that they have what it takes to get the win.
Nice to see Lightningfast and SkRossi performing well in their debuts, but there's really nothing you can do about the trashtalkers. Bit sad.
Maybe check the spoiler first before commenting? Thanks
I am not a clown, I am the whole circus.
I will take this L.
