no chance you'll see a cypher over a kj here

posted 7 months ago

what do you expect playing unrated? Genuinely not even that braindead of an action compared to shit I've seen

posted 7 months ago

Euros obviously.

Braindead but in a profession where I’m hired for having exceptional brains.

You amuse me

posted 7 months ago

I did say that. Also have 1.6 mill in assets and investments.

Thinking 6 mill will last you a lifetime is the braindead take

Not surprised that the swiss gigachads understand.

Kudos

That’s what someone with no money and no financial clue would say.

posted 7 months ago

How is ardiis less flexible than cned???

posted 7 months ago

Lmao not in western europe unless you live like crap

posted 7 months ago

Typical french socialist. 6 mill for a lifetime is literally nothing.

Who?

Who?

Edit: wrong comment

Imagine being this delusional.

posted 7 months ago

Never will happen. Kc is just going to import an igl.

Do agree navi needs a player that can hype his team tho

posted 7 months ago

No chance they gave him 6 mil.

Also LOL if you think 6 mil is enough to retire nowadays at that young age. #poorpeopleideas

posted 7 months ago

Na’Vi is dropping cNed from active roster.

Honestly the best move they could make for the roster.

Ardiis returning?

posted 7 months ago

Saying mwzera will reign again implies that he ever reigned to begin with

Good update. Deadlock rework/changes probably still coming later as this balance patch has likely been in the works for a while.

posted 7 months ago

I mean nitr0 stepped down from Liquid CSGO in may so it's plausible

probably still a bait though

Imagine thinking tenz is a good addition to any team with his shit combo of high buyout + low skill in 2023

  1. More creative util usage
Many ranked players fall into patterns that work well for them. Pros have to be able to break those patterns

  2. Better teamplay
You can flash for a teammate in ranked for example, but pros combine things on the fly that work way better

  3. Better read of the game
    Obv

  4. DISCIPLINE
They will play for higher win %s and (not always ofc) tend to only go for favorable fights when they can. Won’t be chasing down people if they don’t need to

  5. Playing vs other pros
This is a bit of a circular thing, but pros playing ranked vs pros playing other pros is a big difference. All the util and set plays are designed to be as disruptive as possible. It takes a lot of knowledge of how to play against that rather than against the same comp in ranked. Map control really works differently in the pro scene

any roster that has tenz on it will fail

No way there will ever be crossplay man. The mechanics of the mobile game re recoil etc will 100% have to be substantially different for it to work on mobile

posted 8 months ago

Also this will not be the same dev team that are working on the PC game for sure.

We’re not losing pc dev time with them developing the mobile version.

posted 8 months ago

In some markets, mobile is the biggest platform by far.

In india (and some other sea countries), mobile gaming is HUGE.

100% it will make money and be a success

Again just flat out wrong, read previous points again.

posted 8 months ago

Yes there are closed qualifiers based on RATING.

but more importantly, there are also OPEN qualifiers. That's what valorant doesn't have.

You miss the point yet again.

posted 8 months ago

Talk to device’s 4 majors my guy

posted 8 months ago

Flat out wrong.

Majors don’t have team invites.

posted 8 months ago

Make that point without throwing in false claims then.

You automatically get people to disregard what you’re trying to get through by using false claims to achieve the point.

posted 8 months ago

He’s factually wrong on several things.

We’re not even talking about EU vs other regions. The formats he’s describing and the arguments are simply factually, provably wrong.

posted 8 months ago

Majors never invited teams.

Keep proving you don’t know what you’re talking about.

posted 8 months ago

biggest joke on this thread.

FalleN doesn't even make top 5 awpers of all time

posted 8 months ago

Nt, the first partnered league was blast premier in 2020, roughly 5 years after the scene was already stable.

Don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about.

posted 8 months ago

Partnered events only started in 2020 and there was only one, Blast Premier.

The scene was already mature/stable starting from realistically 2015. It took another 5 years before the first partnered league started. The next ones came years later. Valve's response time of 3 years since the first one is very long, but this is valve we're talking about. Changes that needed to happen within the year take triple the amount.

Valve is so hands-off as a dev that seeing them prohibit this after an honest 1-2 years of it being in full swing is a big sign to other dev teams.

Additionally, the valve-sponsored majors were NEVER partnered. It was only ever 3rd party tournament organizers that had partnered leagues. No matter how good a T2 team is in Valorant, they can never make it to masters/champions. In CS they can. GamerLegion (ranked #31 in the world at the time of the major, and #60 only in October '22) went 2nd place in the latest Paris major. In Valorant they would never have a shot at that.

You show you have no idea what you're talking about.

posted 8 months ago

Valve has nothing to do with Tier 1 tournaments and investing in them. There only is investment in Majors, of which there were 5 out of 14 tournaments in NA since 2015 when the scene actually became more mature.

Besides that, your argument is moot, as the presence (or lack thereof) of major tournaments in Asia was never a problem - Asian teams had their own qualifiers to get to the major, wherever that major was. There were, and are, always Asian teams at every single major.

To your point about NA teams having to relocate to EU to keep up with competition - the competition was simply higher in EU. If NA teams wanted to stay relevant, they needed to scrim with EU teams cause NA talent was simply not as good. It had nothing to do with the tournament density.

The reduction in tournament density was a RESULT of the lacking talent in the region, not the CAUSE.

posted 8 months ago

Read my post again. Valve is starting to PROHIBIT tournament organizers from only inviting partnered teams.

They're literally doing the opposite of what Riot is doing.

posted 8 months ago

I don't know what you're talking about indeed, that's why I'm asking.

What's so shit about it?

posted 8 months ago

What's shit about it? EU uses Faceit, why doesn't asia use it?

posted 8 months ago

how did valve kill asian CS? By giving them free slots to majors which they still didn't do anything with?

The reason NA cs is not big is because they progressively got worse, and since they were worse there was less viewership. Not valve's fault

posted 8 months ago

CS esport is one of the healthiest in esport history.

Volvo has just restricted events from inviting only partnered teams, so tier2 and tier3 can thrive better. Community is happy.

What does riot do when they see this success? The opposite.

Orgs will be leaving T2, salaries for T2 players will drop and the talent pool will shrink as T2-T3 players will leave as soon as any other game comes out (hello CS2)
