scammers are resourceful, they make money (despite shitty fking morals). scammers are also smarter than a fair amount of ppl (they DO make money). scammers SEEM stupid compared to a lot of us with college degrees because we immediately know they’re scammers and get a whole laugh out of their attempts.

i would be downvoting ppl if i was still in high school. my parents had me on that koolaid juice, promising me engineering was the best career to have. maybe in their generation, but not anymore. courses are too difficult for the return you get (and this is coming from someone who took AP classes in high school and finished 11th of 500+), shit becomes no fun fast. i took one accounting class and i was ready to switch. i speak from experience, you'll see when you actually enter the workforce. i'm sitting at a desk doing jack shit all day. nobody is out here designing cool new shit, that's not what "engineers" do. we just maintain shit and do database stuff. easy but boring, i've experience no fulfillment yet.

plus, with an engineering degree, you can't progress. what you gonna do, become "Engineer II" or "Engineer III?" marginal pay upgrades while still doing the same shit. you make it to "Senior Engineer Lead" or some shit by 50, then MAYBE you crack 100k. You ever try to go to another field, people see an engineering degree and don't hire you. you get a business degree, the sky's the limit.

i have to disagree on corey, i watched every match and he did entry well. more effectively on raze, sure, but he dashed in on jett too. that’s why his stats were so bad on her lol. and he didn’t get many first kills or deaths because subroza was fking all those stats up during the defaults before hitting sites.

maybe we looked at the broadcasts in different ways so idk, just my humble opinion.

corey is great on raze/reyna so ur right. idk why ppl think he doesn’t entry. i watched all the matches but maybe i missed something. he seemed hella aggressive at the right times to me. he doesn’t have many first deaths because subroza typically does that before TSM regroups to hit site.

there’s another issue though, if wardell is on jett then rossy has to fill the sentinel role. not all maps need a sentinel (bind, split, icebox), but TSM has to completely rework their comp on maps that do need a KJ.

exactly, wardell jett crutched tsm to top 8 by the end of last year. chamber obviously doesn’t have that potential. wardell with chamber ult is fkin scary though.

also, wardell can rifle now if he just trusts himself. he used to rifle a fair amount in Stage 1 and 2, so the OP “crutch” must have really taken off in Stage 3. if he can rifle well enough to entry then jett is the move.

the narrative must go on i guess… but his play style is no less “bait-y” than any other OPer.

although he didn’t play jett “correctly,” he could carry on her. so much more mobility with updrafts, and instant dash without being in range of a TP. he’s fine on chamber and plays that role well, but it’s not enough to carry obviously.

xset and other top teams still use Jett to OP, I even saw Cryo using the OP on attack sometimes. if chamber isn’t meta for Tier 1 competition over the next month, then wardell should go back to jett imo.

this scuba guy been on my watch list since he dropped 36 in a map vs TSM. if tsm would’ve just won that series man…

and I like XSET, i think they're better than C9 and are capable of beating NV/SEN/100T. that zekken/cryo combo is insane.

you can't really judge XSET based on an NSG Championship. i'm sure they WANT to win, but i doubt they're trying their COMPLETE hardest. but i think they'll be really good in VCT.

Beating GENG used to mean something when they were a fringe Tier 1 team. Now they’re just another big name org that’s fallen off, just like TSM.

Of all players who have at least 500 rounds on Chamber (there are currently 11), Wardell has the highest ACS, KD, ADR, and KPR.

Of course you can say that certain ppl outperformed him on a map by map basis, but he’s the best Chamber main out there by stats. It gets more difficult when comparing impact and creativity.

levi was picked up because of his sova lineups and LMG spams, not because of mechanics and game sense. i respect that he’s willing to play viper (and breach), but his lurks/timings need serious works. Broadcasts make it look like he’s throwing on that agent. Also, shame on TSM for picking maps like split/bind/fracture so often and forcing him off sova, the agent he was signed to play.

tsm was trialing KCP critical at the time and NGL he may have been a better pickup mechanically. obviously no clue how that would have affected team dynamic. but at least we wouldn’t have a player dependent on sova tech to succeed.

the amount of tsm fans who were like “great job today [insert tsm player name here], we still believe in you guys and you’ll win next time!” was ridiculous. what did they do great, losing?

knights has a monthly gauntlet at the end of each month. NSG is finishing up winter champs rn, and their summer champs starts around april based on last year. they also had monthly tourneys last year when they weren’t doing weekly summer/winter champs.

none of us really have insider knowledge on tourney organization. no idea how the schedule will work during VCT season, but I imagine there will be something for the teams that didn’t make it. just gotta be patient.
