Wardell/Wippie situation isn’t ideal for either player, because the team is either playing with a sub or with a teammate who hasn’t practiced in weeks. I’m honestly surprised Wardell didn’t continue to fill in the second qualifier; it was only four more days of practice for Wippie.
Penny didn’t perform, Effys is a weaker link, and Zander had to deal with it all as IGL.

At the end of the day, they are inconsistent just like every other team. Consistent players, at least in NA, wouldn’t have moved from the CSGO scene.

fwiw i think he proved he was a team player with V1. the players and coach all had positive things to say (publicly at least) and he seemed to entry or anchor however the team wanted. he went 40-36 in first duels which meant he died first way more than normal. his rifle looked solid. he would anchor so the 4 players w chemistry could stack the other site, yet they still lost the other site, unlucky.

but sadly he’s not going pro again for a while :/

How is that so? If Chamber gets nerfed along with Jett, then there are no more get-out-of-jail-free agents. Which means that every awper's value will decrease a bit. However, Wardell played CSGO (without dashes) and was better at that than any other awper who transitioned to Valorant. If anything, he would remain one of the best awpers since he misses less than the other randoms who only showed up in Valorant.

Those are MY honest thoughts. But awping in Valorant isn't a necessity, so teams may still choose a better rifler.

his rifle did not stand out as costing them many rounds, except for when he lost to Hazed who was full stunned lmaooooooooooo. but he had good moments, like the 4k on Haven yesterday and two almost-clutches today.

it's showing that he's willing to rifle and entry frag and be traded while playing non-one-trick agents.

thwifo has had his moments but I don't think he's a long term option in Valorant either.
