It's nice to see meteors son back in tier 1!!!!!
nope cned played like ass in 2022 anyone who thought navi was going to be better than 22 navi didnt have a brain
Cuz emea and na shared the arenas with league but pacific had their own arena just for val
It was inflated cuz of the streamers but it was never as bad as people make it out to be
as time goes on the more we realise trembo is the truth
nah i alr knew meteor was gonna be sentinel at the time cuz he spammed it in ranked but i thought geng would do double duelist more often
Soooo happy for him. The main reason I support geng is cuz everyone treats the players like drx rejects and I'm happy them all. Still sad exy hasn't made a tier 1 tourney yet ðŸ˜
Gen is full of veterans beside karon so idt experience will be too big of an issue
KNEW WE COULD GET TO THE TOP 1 DAY LETS FUCKING GOOOOO
3 points is absolutely needed. I expect drx and the other teams to get stronger so it's important to get the points now because champions is the final goal of every team not masters
Skrossi op sova such good initiating for texture yep real helpful
What a monster rookie. And he's a genuine rookie as well.
It's a shame he went to military early we could have seen him in vct much earlier
Tbh he was always him. Just been on dogshit rosters with dk and ge
It's not years ago it's like a few months 💀
Saying geng will beat navi is not a hot take navi have not been good this past year period
People blaming foxy but he's been good just had a bad series
He was definitely not scapegoated. To this day i believe they win masters 1 2022 if rb didn't choke so hard
Anyone who knows korean val knew they were a threat
I've been saying they have the best fire-power in korea for ages but everyone still underestimated them
Different people handle pressure differently
When the last time navi have beat drx btw
Drx beat this comp but they used jett without phoenix in champs
If they rigged it they wouldn't have put the original format in the first place because they know prx and drx would come out first in their groups dumbass
What made you support geng?
And yeah I agree but the thing is there was almost no reason to retain the 2023 roster. Monyet was unsatisfied with the team and texture demanded a high salary and obv retained rossi wasn't a good idea because of his performance
Unfortunately chovy buff is too strong geng wins it flawless no maps dropped
Bro....xccurate was way riskier than texture he didn't play pro valorant for like a year and when he did he played in tier 2.
If you think autumn cares about region 'attention' and gaining fans instead of trying to create the best roster just get lost u don't know shit
talking about 2023 when they experimented with foxy9 on duelist
imagine current texture replaced foxy last year
i mean in terms of developing young talent we have done that
but at the end of the day, the majority of these teams are veteran talent driven and these youngbloods only really account for like 1/5th of the team
actually one of my biggest worries is the veterans becoming washed and korea having not enough young talent LOL
created an alt just for the sole purpose of shittalking me LOL
actually no i supported t1 last year i just dont like the direction they went THIS YEAR
tbh nah they didnt grind shit LOL the talent was always there we were just plagued by other regions poaching a lot of quality players
u right fam im biased as hell and im just tilted i didnt get geng vs t1 and in hindsight this thread is embarassing LMAO
not in current form, i think texture is better than buzz
and meteor > flashback imo simply because i think his carry potential is way better and on his good day i dont think anyone from drx can match him
id say foxy9 is better than lakia tho
and idk man, drxs stratbook looks pretty weak atm
but tbh i think geng can only beat drx if meteor and texture play like they have been doing, if they have average games i think they lose
tf you mean 'surely' like its a crime for me to not care about sea and jp
imo i believe that t1 gone full kr would be better, so if t1 loses ofc i will be pissed
and if you actually read what i wrote you would realise i actually agree that they look better. since they look better and prx does look weaker, i find it inexcusable for t1 to lose this one esp since t1 got so close to beating them last year
lets break down this drx superteam argument
2021: xeta was miles better than rb on initiator
2022: meteor was clear cut the best duelist in korea and drx probably wins masters 1 if he replaced rb. zest in 2022 before he showed his flex ability could be replaced by xeta and probably pre-wrist injury lakia
2023: probabaly the worst year for this 'superteam' arguement. youve got k1ng > rb on sentinel, saya was pretty damn equal with buzz, and xeta was better than stax both as an initiator and igl
if you think that drx was a superteam you just dont know the korean scene well enough.
and buddy, having saya munchkin and xeta as your core isnt 'building from scratch'. he is not a genius coach who improved this team to 3rd place. it was EXPECTED of that core. people just think they improved because t1 flopped at the start but anyone with a brain had them top 3/4 in 2023 preseason
isnt the only fact that americas doesnt have a tighter schedule is because they share the same arena with lcs
nah texture will show drx what they missed out on
