Isn’t it unfair how it’s single elimination but two teams get in?

If t1 could play gen g they’d have a way easier time to Madrid. Same for prx if they could play geng

They want 2 kr team in champion this year so bad, cause they change the format, before was Winner Group A vs play in an Winner Group B vs Winner Group C, and now they change it the format, fuck of lah riot 😭😭

now they play prx which is a tough ass game

also its unfair how prx are given the best seed but at the end of it when it really matters they dont play the play in team

you dont get the point brothe. the original format is
Group A (T1) vs Play in winner (GenG)
Group B (DRX) vs Group C (PRX)
then somehow they change it

Nah bro, you don't get it...

The format was never changed. The format stays the same. If you would've read the rules before the competition started, they clearly stated that the Play in Winner cannot play against the same team they played in groups, and if that happens they'll be moved on the other side of the bracket.

yea but prx was against drx so geng would be against t1 no? and none of them are playing the teams from their group, idk why they changed it, my guess i ppl complaining about drx vs prx for the 9th time

was there an actual official tournament format that announced that group A will play with play in winner? I see it as "Group Winner vs Group Winner" and "Group Winner vs Play In Winner" .. the only place I've seen it set as a placeholder with "Group A Winner vs Play In Winner" was here on vlr.gg, but that doesn't mean anything in terms to official expectations.
