just turned it on right now, i'll try to watch some of the games throughout the week to get a good assessment of their level

personally though the difference between the top teams is just what makes teams good in the 'male' scene as well, which is the fundamentals, things like trade kills, smart decision making, not overextending when you have the advantage etc

in emea at least the whole top 10 or so just runs over every team that isn't in that top 10 teams on pure mechanics, the fact of the matter is that there really aren't many girls in valorant who have immortal+ mechanical skill and are putting in the effort to find similar skilled players and grind, so that's why the scene at least in eu is quite top heavy (and i'm sure over regions are much the same), so once you get against those teams with similar skill it's all about the team play now, since we can't really win off mechanics anymore

the only person who is really a level above everyone else is ness, she's fucking crazy sometimes but still not superhuman and it's not like oxygen are winning off her alone, when we played vs them (i'm from chatbanned) she was definitely a bigger threat than jetts from other teams but we most certainly didn't lose because of her, it was errors in our setups and some overpeeking that cost us the win (which since we were a team for only 2 weeks going into the tourney i'm not all too upset about, i'm sure we could sneak a win next time hehe ^.^)

idk what i'm saying anymore but i hope that's some good insight into my experience with playing in game changers :D

as a player of emea game changers the difference between the top few teams isn't raw aim lmfao don't get so excited

i mean if you really want to, but when the tourney has fnc, liquid, acend and gambit, all the eu teams going to champions along with plenty other really good eu teams i don't see how it can be 'tier 2'

sure it's not masters but tier 2 in my mind is where like the best team there is like tenstar or ldn utd (in terms of eu)

just not possible to make them truely play like duelists though, trust me i have the experience lol like if we think about a site for an example, you can maybe make plays by pop flashing through a smoke or a tricky timing on contact, but to truely clear the close angles and pressure the site players in an instant nothing comes close to a jett dash (especially on top of gen)

no true entry power, would make it very tricky to rush out onto either bombsite on attack nor have any true aggression on defense

i'd rate it like 5/10 maybe if you take the sage (and even lower with other the other suggestions)

oni is best phantom imo since it has the default bullet sound, its a lot easier to be consistent with than the other gimmicky sounds other phantoms provide

quit it a few years back now, the game really failed to evolve in my opinion and gave me no more drive to keep going (i played it at like a relatively competitive level, got 20 wins in first 20w challenge and some other little tourneys)

i still believe it's one of the most competitive esports at the top level but if grinding the game is just dead boring i couldnt care to play it tbh
