it really doesn't work for me, so i'd say no but remember it was like 6 or 7 out of the 10 players in the champions final (gambit and acend) were using 4:3 so maybe there is something to it :P

he might remove exact info, but in terms of a default his stun is unmatched in clearing jetts with awp - for an example if your sova is throwing a recon mid, killjoy placing turret on B, how do you clear A main? with skye you have to dog and with kayo you can get the info not to push, but with breach you can force the jett away 100% because she can't even scope, and take the space after

also flashes are insane to combo with jett dashes and blast is just really nice to have (same with kayo nade there though)

finally as well the ulti is amazing (obviously), i really like it because it can force people entirely off the defuse, so if you do the strat with astra wall on A and play postplant from main, with blast and ulti u can delay a good 20 seconds on your own, if you also have sova darts, kj mollies and pull, rounds are unwinnable for the enemies :D

and also if a player does have that bit more money they'll go with bulldog probably since it's sooo much better than both spectre and ares

probably just 1800 would be good and balanced, it would see a lot less use if people have to give up significant utility or armour compared to going with spectre

ascent is an amazing map too, he's most certainly on the same level as skye and kay/o there

exactly lol, like sure viewers will sometimes say that X player was the problem, but a large majority of the time that's not even true - it's honestly unbelievable to me that an organisation who actually wants to win makes moves based on thinking like that :X

they're actually trolling doing this, it's a TEAM game and you can't have real success with the team constantly changing...

kayo was supposed to literally break the whole game but didn't make a single mark until he got a buff lul

not only can phoenix flashes pretty much only flash for himself, you have to remember they're not even that good at doing it unless you have some weird tech or even lineups (lol) to make them pop super well and be undodgable, whereas with skye for example you just need to practice timing a little and you can pop flash any corner perfectly along with people able to help your team, along with them also being rechargeable...

considering last roster was pushing top 5 EU, it seems unlikely they will be as good as that, but they should still be super interesting to watch :D

+1 i have a dac for better music quality and never noticed any delay in valorant, and also considering i use it in osu where like 10ms delay can make things unplayable never noticed anything there either :P

idk who aspas is but bro just because he runs it down in ranked doesn't mean that's something that would EVER happen in these new BR superteams... you mustn't have any experience playing outside of ranked to know it's a completely different game tbh and you will never play a round the same as how you would play it in ranked

a full veto system would be horrible, you would play ascent/haven 90% of games

I don't really know about the other regions but you literally just named the top 4 in EU from the last event... 3 of those teams are potentially making roster changes and were not the same top 4 from the event 2 weeks before that lol

for the lan next year there is absolutely no way to call who will make it right now, at least our scene in EU is incredibly close and there are probably teams that don't even exist right now that will make it by end of next year - only thing I know is that I will make it :)

first shot inaccuracy isn't actually as cringe as you think, if two people both shoot on the head but one is closer to the center than the other, does the one who is closer not deserve the kill more?

i don't know the specifics but i don't think valorant has incredibly long range angles where you can aim in the dead center and still miss and therefore if that's true then nothing is wrong with how it's implemented (if it's not then it should be reduced a little i'm not going to say that's not kinda cringe but also you do have to remember how unlikely that situation is to happen lol)

i aim with my wrist on 800dpi 0.314, you only actually aim and make the small movements on the target in a small area of the mousepad and it can be easily done with just your wrist - to use a low sense you need to learn to just turn and make the big movements with your arm

he's gonna want to win, not sure he'd want to join an NA team...

if we're only going off the LAN's, Derke and heat are the only two to show a god tier performance more than once I believe, so they're probably the two most worth talking about, but overall it's obviously so hard to judge

also with pistols, because of having armour reducing damage rather than just being extra health, with pistols you can do 100 to the head on pistol rounds but like 14 to the body, so you can no where near as easy just spam people down like in valorant where that happens way too often with ghost

and of course counter strafing being more precise and required, where in valo you can just let go of all buttons and be ready to fire super quickly so fucking it up doesn't even matter too much

I agree that an instapick of fracture would be crazy from Acend, but it's not like they have better options really, maybe they will have confidence in their breeze to pick it but I don't think I do :D It is crazy to say TS are going to make top 4 but looking at all that we know, it does kinda make sense honestly.

For C9, maybe me saying it was 50/50 was a little bit much xd. I just didn't believe in leaf and xeppaa at lan at all, and clearly they proved me wrong today so if that will continue it would then maybe be 50/50 but that's not something confirmed to happen. I agree with winner of this match making finals though!

It seems we might disagree a lot more for Thursday's games though, hehe we'll have to wait until then however :D

Since my post last night was quite well received, here I am giving my thoughts on tomorrow's matches no matter how wrong I might have been... (I got X10C right though okay :D)

As I mentioned last time as well, my opinion is potentially more valuable because I am a pro in EMEA game changers for chatbanned, where we recently finished back to back top 5, but honestly these games are so unpredictable I could be completely wrong, hopefully it's just a fun little read no matter what actually happens in the matches ^>^

Game One: Acend vs Team Secret

ACE -haven (perma-ban I believe)
TS -bind (acend's best map, and they banned it vs vikings so it's not like they don't want to ever ban it)

ACE +fracture? (no clue what they pick tbh, they haven't been good on breeze and it's not like they've ever been that good on split or ascent)
TS +icebox (strong map for them for sure, beat gambit and vikings here while acend aren't the best at it)

ACE -split/ascent (as already said, they aren't the best on these maps)
TS -breeze (just looked at winrates for this tbh lol but it is super low for TS and they've only played it a few times so it seems quite unlikely they'd want to play it now, it's not like ACE were that awful vs VK)

Last map: Split/Ascent

Overall, it's easy to say that Acend are the better team because they've performed so well in the past etc, but with them not having bind to play, I honestly don't think that they have a high chance of winning any of the maps in play. A big factor to remember as well is that the games will be back on stage, where Acend haven't played well on here nor at Masters 3. Therefore I'm going to actually pred Team Secret to win 2-1 :D

Game Two: Cloud9 vs Team Liquid

TL -fracture (seems to be their perma-ban, also C9 were good on it vs FNC ofc)
C9 -ascent (bad map for them, really good for TL)

TL +haven (strong for them and a map C9 seems to not really play)
C9 +icebox (TL's old perma-ban and a good one for C9)

TL -bind (not their best, and it's probably quite risky to play the map for the first time in such a big game against a team with no demos to review)
C9 -split (they probably wanna go for breeze over split because it's been better for them in the past and they need to pick with confidence to take the series)

Last map: Breeze

I think Haven is gonna pretty heavily favour Liquid where the others will be quite 50/50. It is maybe a bit of a question mark if TL will be at the same level with all being on stage now, but I don't think it'll be a negative factor at all, where it somewhat seems to be with C9 (or at least it was earlier in the tournament). Gonna say 2-1 for Liquid, but it should be super close and good to watch.

As I already said, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong on both predictions, I think both games are gonna be SUPER 50/50 tomorrow, and I'm excited to see how it goes. Please let me know your thoughts as well, I'd love to have a chat about it! (Because I'm sure I'm wrong on some things, I don't have perfect knowledge of these teams :D)
