fnatic top 1

posted about 2 years ago

fnatic's fracture was very good in red bull, and they were clearly hiding a lot of shit there, so i'm very excited

not like c9 will be bad on it since we haven't seen anything from them though, should be a sick 3rd map

only real opinion on the map

+1 obviously we'll see and this will probably be some clown level take after the tourney, but who is supposed to be better than them? liquid maybe? fnatic (i'm on the copium)?

i wonder who will pop off harder in grand finals, lord bonkar or gtn with his legendary yoru

yea sure maybe, but at the current moment if you are discussing the best team in 'EU', you're (more than likely) gonna say it's gambit - it's not about how they happened to be split up in the past that should determine how to describe them, but rather by what makes the most sense, what servers they play on, what is used across other esports, hell even how the countries are just defined across the world, and all of those things would indicate gambit are a european team, and are therefore from 'EU'

posted about 2 years ago

that's so funny actually omg

posted about 2 years ago

idk why anyone cares about this at all, eu = emea, gambit is eu/emea, no matter what riot determined them as (for no reason) in vct qualifiers

if you're saying na > eu because gambit aren't eu ThEy'Re EmEa then ur trolling tbh

there are a few teams doing it, but they really aren't that successful. the best way to run fracture is with viper and astra, 100%, and if i had to guess every team who makes playoffs at champions and plays fracture will run them both, or maybe a small chance one team plays the more aggressive style with 2x duelist and solo smokes astra, but viper on her own is surprisingly bad on this map, i'm really not sure how it caught on to be the meta in ranked

posted about 2 years ago

if they're on solo smokes with viper then gl winning that map :x

it's really weird i feel like almost everyone playing valorant thinks cs is a cool game and they like to play it, while cs players act like valorant and everyone who plays it is the devil lol super weird

posted about 2 years ago

ehhhhhhhhh i mean obviously yes HAHA but i do see Gambit TL and FNC all with top 4 potential, then it's not that insane that Acend or VS can take the last spot in top 4?? idk :P

nah ive been getting stuff flamed recently x)

no NA team makes top 4

[IMO] Astra, Breach, Viper, Cypher, Jett

I feel like the double smokes is almost a must have, they are super powerful for defaulting and executes and also defense. Breach is obvious, and Jett is Jett, then it can be rounded out with a lot of agents, but I believe Cypher is the best since he can take even more map control with the camera, however you can also try Killjoy, or maybe something like Sage/KAY/O for a different look, or even Reyna/Raze if you're looking for a more aggressive style which maximises the rounds you take on attack

Veto prediction:

Guild take team b, so they ban second

G2 ban Fracture
Guild ban Icebox

G2 pick Haven (Guild pick defense)
Guild pick Split (G2 pick defense)

G2 ban Ascent
Guild ban Bind

Breeze remains (G2 pick attack)

I could also see G2 picking bind (and therefore Guild banning haven in 2nd ban phase), but it seems pretty likely that this will be the 3 maps. Both haven/bind and breeze are quite 50/50, whereas split should be around 80/20 to guild.

Overall, even though I think G2 are probably the better team, the map pools work well for Guild here and that should lead them to take the series 2-1.

i mean it's not even like sova is a MUST, they made it work without him before (idk why tenstar don't like sova, but they don't), it's just with that old comp they still had skye, who can do similar things instead of sova, but just with neither and instead taking kayo, who has some flashes, idkkkk

it was clear what the idea was, push things quickly and effectively, especially with a kayo ultimate there is no chance of holding that realistically, but when it doesn't even work, and then you have a 2nd half to play where you need to defend their pushes, i just find it a little strange to play a comp that relies on aim more or less, in a team where their strength comes from the teamplay and structure

posted about 2 years ago

tenstar threw from agent select on map 3, it's just not possible to fight for space in A or B main without skye OR sova, only one of them sure but when it's 2 for oxygen and none for tenstar, they were just unable to do anything to take space so oxygen had the reads from 20 seconds in and then on defense obviously they can't defend because they have no clue what the attackers are doing....

really disappointing, but hopefully tenstar can bounce back and play something more normal :P

i mean it can be helpful if you've never used a mouse before sure, i've played it for 200 hours, but it really doesn't transfer to valorant in terms of actual improvement beyond just the absolute basics

deathmatch>>>>
kovaaks (and maybe aimlab idk never played it) is also useful but if you dm with a purpose (xhair placement, movement, etc) it's the best to improve
osu is completely useless to improve aim, don't even consider it

i would've loved to

after losing 11-13 map 3 to oxygen the day before, it was kinda rough yea... luckily things are looking better for us now in game changers 3 :D

15-17 official vs smb female, we came back from 3-11 down to ot then ended up losing in the end :'(

osu!
750hrs-ish according to trackergg

getting shot in the back wouldn't ever be a problem if respawns were instant, i would love to see that and also an increase in players to 16-18 and you would be in constant aim fights, would be a super fun mode
