Ur right, hadn't seen the GenG scoreline before this.
PRX ban Haven, G2 ban Pearl, PRX pick Icebox, G2 pick Ascent, PRX ban Sunset, G2 ban Split, Lotus Remains
G2 wins Icebox 13-9
G2 wins Ascent 13-4
G2 wins 2-0
SEN ban Lotus, XLG ban Split, SEN pick Sunset, XLG pick Haven, SEN ban Icebox, XLG ban Pearl, Ascent Remains
SEN win Sunset 13-7
XLG win Haven 15-13
SEN win Ascent 13-9
SEN win 2-1
BLG ban Split, SEN ban Sunset, BLG pick Icebox, SEN pick Haven, BLG ban Lotus, SEN ban Ascent, Pearl Remains
SEN win Icebox 13-11
SEN win Haven 13-6
SEN win 2-0
Nah trust they were just prepping for this moment
GEN ban Sunset, MIBR ban Lotus, GEN pick Pearl, MIBR pick Icebox, GEN ban Ascent, MIBR ban Haven, Split Remains.
GEN win Pearl 15-13
MIBR win Icebox 13-8
MIBR win Split 13-10
MIBR win 2-1
A better reality 😔
This literally makes no sense, though. WOL has a higher win rate on Split than SEN. WOL has banned Sunset in the past three games they've played, and saying that's to hide strategies is an obvious cope. WOL definitely would not have been hiding strategies to risk not qualifying for EWC. SEN not picking Pearl also doesn't make ANY sense because that's their best map, and WOL have a plethora of vod footage on that map to review. EVEN IF IT COMES DOWN TO THOSE THREE MAPS, which it won't, SEN will annihilate WOL on Pearl because of the reasons stated previously.
WOL ban Sunset, SEN ban Lotus, WOL pick Split, SEN pick Pearl, WOL ban Ascent, SEN ban Icebox, Haven Remains
SEN win Split 13-6
SEN win Pearl 13-4
SEN win 2-0
It's wolves, it'll be a 2-0
Why didn't they keep the same groups and then have one group play the other? That way, there would have been entirely new matches, and every possible matchup would have been played this year.
If I wanted to watch Cloud9 play Loud this year, that's probably just not gonna happen unless they meet in the playoffs.
Furia and 2G are going to get smited in their group in stage 2
My map bans were spot on buddy
SEN are 3/7 on Lotus this year and 1/3 on Lotus this stage, G2 are 10/11 on Lotus this year, and 4/5 on Lotus this stage.
You do the math lol
SEN ban Fracture, SEN ban Lotus, SEN pick Haven, G2 pick Split, SEN pick Pearl, G2 pick Ascent, Icebox remains.
SEN win Haven 13-8
G2 win Split 13-11
SEN win Pearl 13-9
SEN win Ascent 13-5
SEN win 3-1
GEN ban Fracture, RRQ ban Pearl, GEN pick Lotus, RRQ pick Icebox, GEN ban Ascent, RRQ ban Split, Haven remains.
GEN win Lotus 13-9
GEN win Icebox 16-14
GEN win 2-0
MIBR bans Fracture, G2 bans Icebox, MIBR picks Pearl, G2 picks Lotus, MIBR picks Haven, G2 picks Ascent, and Split remains.
MIBR win Pearl 13-9
G2 win Lotus 15-13
MIBR win Haven 13-8
G2 win Ascent 13-4
G2 win Split 13-5
G2 win 3-2
EG's best map is Lotus, and they just don't have a very good map pool. They picked Lotus into KRU, who had looked good on the map. I just don't know what map EG would rather pick. G2 has a better Pearl, which is the only other map that EG has picked that wouldn't get insta-banned. What map do you think they will pick instead?
In the SEN G2 game, when both teams practically perma-banned Fracture, SEN was the one who ended up banning it, so I don't see why it would be different here. I'd say SEN picking Pearl makes sense, or Haven both have a 50/50 chance of getting picked, SEN banning Ascent makes 0 sense, though? MIBR has a 0% win rate on that map, losing to Furia and G2, while SEN has a 100% win rate. MIBR banning Split also doesn't make much sense over Haven because SEN have a 75% win rate on Haven and MIBR have a 67% win rate on it, while on Split, SEN have a 67% win rate and MIBR have a 100%.
I do agree that it will be a 2-1 either way.
G2 ban Fracture, EG ban Haven, G2 pick Split, EG pick Lotus, G2 ban Icebox, EG ban Ascent, Pearl Remains
G2 win Split 13-6
G2 win Lotus 13-4
G2 win 2-0
SEN ban Fracture, MIBR ban Ascent, SEN pick Haven, MIBR pick Icebox, SEN ban Lotus, MIBR ban Pearl, Split Remains
SEN win Haven 13-9
MIBR win Icebox 13-7
SEN win Split 16-14
SEN win 2-1
G2 ban Fracture, 100T ban Split, G2 pick Lotus, 100T pick Haven, G2 ban Ascent, 100T ban Pearl, Icebox Remains
G2 win Lotus 13-5
G2 win Haven 13-7
G2 win 2-0
I'm not sure I agree. In the past three games, KRU has had the worst-looking performance of the year. LOUD is a fraudulent team, and Cloud9 did not look like themselves in the playoffs at all. So I'll need to see them play a higher-tier team before I start believing. The next match they play should provide that.
100T are NOT going to Toronto. They're the fifth-best team as of right now, and they'd have to beat MIBR, SEN, or G2, which would never EVER happen.
SEN ban Fracture, G2 ban Haven, SEN pick Split, G2 pick Lotus, SEN ban Icebox, G2 ban Pearl, Ascent Remains
SEN 15-13 Split
G2 13-7 Lotus
SEN 14-12 Ascent
Sen win 2-1
SEN ban Fracture, C9 ban Split, SEN pick Haven, C9 pick Ascent, SEN ban Icebox, C9 ban Lotus, Pearl remains
SEN win Haven 13-9
C9 win Ascent 13-6
SEN win Pearl 15-13
SEN win 2-1
I would put the Loud in this game over 2g and EG easily. They look 10 times more in form than in all the other matches AND they finally figured out a team that works
