I actually think the opposite. I think the strategy in this game is pretty primitive and not revolved around the meta or weapons, so I think steel actually is pretty underrated in terms of aim and lurking abilities. Maybe he could develop more complex strats to take sites but it kinda seems like they don't need it.

I despise both him and sentinels with a passion, thats why my fav team is 100T, but even I can acknowledge that hes the best in the world right now. You should accept it too. Hopefully it will change, but just making outlandish claims with no arguments isnt helping.

I'm American, but lived in the Netherlands for a few core years of my life, where I learned geography of some European countries, not too in depth, nothing about America or the rest of the world. Connected with a few of my friends there, they said still no real geography classes (is a private school btw since my parents could afford, public school in the US).
In the United States, IDK if I missed it or something, but I've had multiple world history classes and no geography classes or lessons, just 1 random quiz on states in the 6th grade. The only reason I know so much about the countries and flags is the World Cup. I literally know more about Europe than North America in terms of geography because of it.
I think neither EU or NA does a good job at teaching this stuff, but in general, most Americans won't travel to Europe and don't need to know about every country and flag to stay educated, and tbh most don't care. On the other hand, Europeans don't really need to know states or anything like that cuz they're not going to be travelling to every one of them.

So there was like a stretch of 4 games in challengers 2 where they just looked really shaky. They picked it back up but...
Loss to ABX, looked pretty bad overall
BARELY beating T1, honestly T1 threw that's the reason why they even made it to challenger finals
Immortals choked a lot against SEN, honestly another match that coulda gone either way
Beating ABX and finally looking better again and redeeming themselves even tho they dropped 1 map

I actually kind of agree with you on roca, but the problem is at least effys is consistent. He's playing against top tier pros constantly and getting avg of like 175 or smth combat score. roca, near the end of his time with ssg, was just super inconsistent and no longer in form like he used to be. Also, again, V1 don't need an aim-reliant player like roca right now.

They don't need any more mechanically gifted players on the team. He does his job well and his aim is fine. He's almost always 3-4 on the scoreboard with sova which is exactly where he needs to be. I would only replace him if there was some sova who was actually going to make a difference to the team, like BcJ for example. Otherwise IDK he seems fine to me. Never the reason why they lost, always a reason why they won.
