The double elimination format they use for playoffs is absolute garbage. Upper bracket matches have zero tension, and even when someone goes on a lower bracket run, it's hard to get hype about it.
Champions 2021 was single elim, and GMB vs KRU was one of the most intense matches ever. Every time I watch WCS, I'm reminded that the world champion should be a team that never lost in playoffs. That's what a true champion looks like.
At the very least, Champions playoffs should be single elimination, all BO5, every single match. Make every game a must-win. No safety nets, no second chances.
Anyone else feel this way?

Seriously, can't you just admit M8's Neon was just too weak? If you're frustrated, learn to master it like Dambi does

https://liquipedia.net/apexlegends/Daiki

He had been active in the competitive scene of Apex Legends for several years. After that, he had been working for a company, but it seems he decided to pursue a career as a VALORANT pro.

He lack competitive experience in VALORANT, but he possesses the skill to rank near 1000 RR.
He's also close enough to Meiy to duo queue with him, and Meiy acknowledges daiki's skill.

I know the haters are targeting him because every player they could criticize has left the team, but I feel sorry for him.
He is consistently playing well, but he is being criticized for that off-season fun tournament.

Dont worry about GE.
Even 24TH, who later finished runner-up multiple times at world championships, surely hasn't forgotten losing to FOKUS in the RBHG qualifiers for 23?

They play thinking, “I can get promoted even as an individual, so it's okay if I lose.”
If you're aiming for tier 1 pro status, you can't play with such a dismissive attitude. This isn't about skill level; they simply don't deserve to play at tier 1.

What I'm saying is, he lacks the mindset of a duelist who isn't afraid to die and goes for the FK.
Mada enters aggressively, thinking that even if he dies, his teammates will get the trade. Aspas doesn't have that.
That's why his team can't win.

posted 8 months ago

Considering the combined FK and FD values that demonstrate his ability as a duelist, it becomes clear.

mada:FK10FD16=26

Duelists whose combined FKPR and FDPR do not exceed 0.4 are not working.

It is laughable that the best is a team that has never won a Masters or Champions.

I don't just praise babybay, he can only play easy because the other 4 are too strong.
He hasn't accomplished anything on his own since he belonged to faze.

The prize money is great, but it's only an unofficial tournament not included in VCT.

RIOT is fooling around with CN excitement, etc., but it is clear that there is less and less interest in VCT.
Personally, it seems to me that the VAL competition scene was at its most exciting in 2022-23.

I think Fearless Pick works well, at least in BO3 matches, as long as it is done with at least 6 agents implemented in each role.
In this way, it is possible to reduce the number of teams that are extremely dependent on a particular agent and eliminate boring mirror matches.
It is strange that the 1st seeded team in LoL can handle a major meta change and the VAL pros can't.

It is clear that he was the reason we lost vs PRX. The stats show that he was lackluster throughout. There is no way Lotus had a rating of 0.5 for either offense or defense. The 2map performance before that was also poor and Serial should have been used.
