i don't think there are too many korean teams, it's 3/10 franchised, which is the same as brazil. i don't think it's likely that both slt and ns ascend either, and the 5/12 isn't much either. i'd only support it if every other region split as well (at least americas), since otherwise kr and sea would both be the worst region (excluding cn). but as others said this creates a bubble which i dislike

honestly just learn the machine learning lol, you can learn as you go. knowing the integral of arcsin will not help you build cnns. even when you get to calc stuff (e.g. gradient descent) you can ask someone for an intuitive explanation, then forget it, use torch.autograd that does everything for you, and learn it later
