whzy is going to do absolutely nothing and still win

I think they can retain their ascension slot as long as they make playoffs too so let’s hope that they do!

posted 6 months ago

To be honest I would throw my hands up in disappointment if XLG qualified for champs looking the way they look now. EDG played very disconnected today and I hope they can fix that soon. The rest I agree with 💯

Serial chokers but we still need to support them for being a fun team (and cute logo) 🥰

I think 4th is a solid place to place them right now, what about you? 😄

Let’s talk about VCT CN, especially after every team in the EWC has lost today. What’s up with them? Are these teams really China’s best?

The answer is… not really.

  1. EDward Gaming
The kings of China, whilst sailing into uncharted waters after the loss of S1Mon, remain the strongest and most reliable contender for international trophies. Who knows what they can do after zjc settles in to the squad.
  2. Bilibili Gaming
The bitter rivals to EDG, BLG had triumphed over them in Stage 1 and proves to be a solid player on the global stage. BLG is able to play chaotic yet sound Valorant and keep up with top teams from other regions.
  3. Funplus Phoenix
Having seen a downfall after their riveting 2024 season, FPX is back in stage 2 to grasp a coveted spot in Champions 2025. With BerLin back to lead and a new coach, FPX is looking to be once again one of the top teams in China.
  4. Wolves Esports
Falling short to Fnatic in Toronto, Wolves managed to reach third place in their international debut, beating teams such as TH, GenG and RRQ. With excellent coaching and brilliant teamwork, Wolves is looking to be one of the top contenders in the region and their potential is truly unlimited.
  5. Trace Esports
Trace, whilst having had a turbulent season so far, is still a contender for a champs spot and is capable of being a dominant regional team. They should be reminded that they once toppled the American first seed to secure a top 8 finish at Champions 2024.
  6. Dragon Ranger Gaming
With Nicc moving on from IGLing and the team’s firepower increasing substantially, vo0kashu and SpiritZ1 can look to continue to challenge the top teams for a chance to stay in the VCT and defend their Ascension slot.
  7. Nova Esports
After the departure of o0o0o and the arrival of monk, Nova looks to be a solid team that has every right to fight for their first international debut. GuanG and SWERL continue to be impressive players with the ability to frag when necessary. SWERL is the goat.
  8. Xi Lai Gaming
XLG was once touted to be amongst the top flights of VCT CN, with immaculate team play and awesome execs. However, after the loss of YOU, everything went downhill as the absence of one of their most impactful players proved that sometimes, the loss of one is the loss of many.
  9. Titan Esports Club
EDG’s “retirement home” houses Haodong, abo and AfteR, and looks to fulfill their expectations from the 2023 Evolution series. While they don’t seem to be beating any top teams like BLG anytime soon, they still look to be a solid low table team that can pull off an upset every now and then.
  10. Jingdong Mall JDG Esports
Color me surprised because this team is actually not looking too shabby.
  11. TYLOO Esports
slowly continues to trudge along in his career at a slow pace, despite being one of the more capable players in the region. It is truly a testament to how dysfunctional the team may seem to be at times despite possessing solid talents. May sword9 save us all.
  12. All Gamers
The team with all the gamers yet they still manage to bottle every series they play. It is sad to see how little progress they’ve made but perhaps it’s just destined to be this way.

By your logic Boaster clears Boo by a magnitude 9.5 earthquake because not only did he lead his team to 2 back to back GFs they also won both of them.

TEC 2-0 RRQ in a thrilling upset that has RRQ scratching their heads at why they can't beat a Chinese team.
or something like that if I was drunk on a rainy night in Stoke.

Forgot to mention that the French make great sauces and poultry dishes. Still, we beat them hard in the grains and our pasta clear whatever pastry they whip up (macarons are overrated)

posted 6 months ago

They're different imo. Italian cuisine does an excellent job at bringing out the base flavors of the respective ingredients in a dish (ex. Carbonara) while French cuisine has imo more food science to it. I admire the different techniques the French have came up with to make highly intricate dishes and while I can't deny that I do love both cuisines very much, Italy takes this one because the competition is unfortunately, French.

Tbh I prefer French food

If you could provide shelter to an abandoned animal, what would you want its name to be?

posted 6 months ago

Respect slowly he's like the second best thing to come out of that team after zjc

posted 6 months ago

I don't think it's fully revealed yet (because the Doors of Stone isn't done yet) but essentially wind is a very complex thing that does not have a single name to it but instead many. So its name changes on the perception of the wind itself. One of the names of the wind is

Aerlevsedi (I think)

The Name of the Wind is one of the most compelling pieces of literature I have read and it's been hard to find a novel that matches the feeling it gave me.

Because RIOT has a franchising system (no open qualifiers to top tier tournaments), 3rd party top tier tourneys (with strong teams) only occur during the off-season and are not affiliated with the VCT.
