The battle between drx and Nongshim kicked off on Abyss, a dark eerie battlefield where every corner was a death trap. DRX came out guns blazing and strong, their leader and igl Mako barked orders like a seasoned general. “Hyunmin hold mid! Flashback push through their flank. We don’t let them breathe” Beyn the sharpshooter grinned. “Easy just point me at their heads coach.” Free1ng stayed quiet focused, his oni phantom ready to spray. On the other side, Nongshim was led by Persia a super soldier. He moved like a machine, his voice calm. “Dambi stick with Francis, Ivy Margaret take the high ground we hold them here” Dambi laughed spinning his kuronami vandal. “You got it boss. Let’s make drx regret ever showing up.” The match was neck and neck each side trading rounds. Beyn pulled off ridiculous shots taking out Ivy and Margaret in a 1v2 clutch, but Persia was unstoppable, bulldozing through drx with raw power. Drx pulled ahead 13-10 taking Abyss. Mako grinned wiping sweat from his face.
Haven started and drx came out hot. They dominated the first half going up 8-4. Mako’s calls were sharp and Flashback was on fire winning every duel. “These guys cant do anything what a bunch of frauds,” Flashback said laughing. But Nongshim wasn’t done. Persia rallied his team at halftime. “If we want to win team then its on us.” And then it happened… Nongshim won nine rounds in a row, Persia was everywhere, breaking through all of drx defenses like they were made of ascent paper walls. Dambi and Francis worked as a duo picking off drx players, Margaret even landed a clutch 1v3 with a Classic, leaving drx stunned. The score ended 13-8, Nongshim roaring back to tie the series. Mako slammed his headset down after the match. “What the hell was that hyunmin 3/14 i thought you were good????” Hyunmin shook his head. “They just... didn’t stop.”
The final map was Split and it started rough for drx. Nongshim crushed the first half going up 9-3. DRX was desperate “We need help” Mako muttered. Beyn leaned back. “You thinking what I’m thinking?”
They called in reinforcements, Stax, Buzz, and Rb arrived dropping from a helicopter. Stax high fived Mako. “Heard you needed some muscle” Buzz smirked glancing at Stax. “I’m only here for him” he teased making his lover Stax blush. The second half was chaos, Stax and Buzz tore through Nongshim’s defenses while Rb held their flank. Flashback started landing shots like he had aimbot taking out Persia during the bonus round. Drx clawed their way back tying it at 12-12. The overtime rounds were brutal but Nongshim wouldn’t back down with Persia almost pulling off a 1v4 but drx held strong. In the final round Lebron James showed up in the crowd and yelled “LETS GO RB THATS OUR MAP AINT IT?” from the sidelines. Rb blew him a kiss.. Mako planted the spike and Buzz covered him taking out Ivy and Margaret to seal the game. DRX won 16-14 and were relegated from t1 like the frauds they are. Stax leaned on Buzz, smiling. “We couldn’t have done it without you” Buzz smirked “You just wanted an excuse to see me” Mako shook his head laughing. “Whatever works man we won.”
Hyunmin grinned “That was insane Absolute cinema.”
