Judging by your position, you're probably a high rank and often queue with professional players. My advice to you is to play often, try to be as good a person and teammate as possible, and build relations with the people that you queue with. That way, when those people have slots that open up in their teams, they think to refer you to their managers. I feel that's your best route

This ranking is one of the better ones I've seen but it still has some flaws. Why is ZETA DIVISION above Karmine Corp? Why is Apeks above multiple teams that have multiple wins this year, including Global Esports, LOUD, and Gentle Mates?

Obviously there's hunger to win, but if you're doing something you love and getting paid to do it then why not keep doing it? Of course they're trying to get higher but they're not gonna complain if they don't because they're happy with where they're at

I like franchising because there's also more consistency with the formatting; pre-franchising was kinda the wild west of VALORANT esports and it was never really for certain whether a good team would make it all the way because each sub-region had their own sorta thing going on.

There are two things I don't like about franchising, though:

1. Visa issues. This doesn't really apply to VCT CN but the fact that the three other leagues are hosted in Korea Republic, Germany, and the United States of America makes for some very real visa issues for people from several countries, such as Brazil and Russia. In the case of Korea and the USA, this also means that local talent has much better opportunities to show up and perform, as we've seen across the three years.

2. Lack of relegation. I'm a fan of a LOT of teams that have underperformed immensely throughout different parts of franchising (e.g. LOUD, KC, ZETA, DFM) but even then I think a European football style relegation system would be great. Take Americas, for example... you could have the bottom 3 teams relegated automatically and replaced with the top team from Challengers NA, LATAM, and Brazil
