Separate each Region Franchise into 3 groups of 4.
A total of 12 groups. Then, the fun part; each Region group only plays another region group.

EM1 EM2 EM3 CN1 CN2 CN3 AP1 AP2 AP3

Then you get a group stage that's done in 12 days !!!

CN2 × EM3
CN3 × AM2
EM2 × AP1
CN1 × AP3
EM1 × AM3

That way you only get the matchups people can care about, region matchups! Nobody gives a shit about G2 vs Furia, or KRU vs EG

For the Bo1s I was thinking about making them all play the same map? The new map at the time, like, a new map comes out in January 2025 and then during the group stage that's the map we see
