MaKo would instantly improve any team to playoff contention.
Drop him into DFM and witness a resurrection more miraculous than Jesus Christ's.

Yeah, this post started as more of a Vision Strikers retrospective than anything, which is ironically one of the most stable rosters in Valorant history.
You're 100% correct though, while they're still developing top caliber players, they lack stability post-franchising. Look at PRX, they know when to test out changes and when to adjust their core. PatMen was an excellent 6th man pickup without threatening the foundation at the time.
DRX on the other hand just switches things on a whim nowadays. Sure, they are using their academy roster well to continue their top-level player development, but it really doesn't create the best environment for winning when you know your job is on the line.
Mb, he was America's MVP, my memory failed me
To be honest I don't even know if Termi is the problem. The team is so solid 90% of the time except when it matters. Maybe the team culture puts too much pressure on them in the big moments?
Okay, since Vision Strikers, the core of Rb, Zest, MaKo, BuZz, and stax had been seen as untouchable. They toyed with foxy9 and beyn, but stax was the first cut. Then the dominoes fell
But look where they ended up:
MaKo leads DRX as their most veteran player, and also outfrags his teammates while playing controller.
BuZz and stax reunited on Korea's prestigious T1 and brought a title just last Masters, both being integral to victory.
Foxy9 is literally on a stacked GenG squad + beyn has been promoted to a full time DRX main roster player.
The most unfortunate cases are Rb and zest, who both stayed in tier 1 (a testament to the original VS talent level after all these years) after the DRX overhaul, but suffered different fates:
Rb is on Titan, a floundering CN team and plays off the bench most of the time, despite him balling tf out when they let him play.
zest was a victim of the BLEED debacle, which we honestly don't talk about enough, and has semi-retired from playing.
The point being, DRX produces top talent, even if they can never get the results they want. They foster amazing players, stick by them for their development, and then they're open to the rest of the league as instant pluses to any team that scouts them. I'm sure we'll see the same of flashback once he gets off the academy.
I don't think there's another team that does it as well as this.
When LOUD lifted that Champions trophy, there was without a doubt a GOAT, and that stood until the next season over. Aspas, save for this season, has been one of the most consistent and intelligent duelist players in the entire league. I glaze no players other than eeiu, but to MVP Champs and do it in the fashion he did; I would say Aspas at least deserves to be named alongside some of the players you had.
8/8 Fell For The Rage-Bait

Like these cost more than 2 jays tickets its absurd
It seems that only the playoff matches are sold out, I should be fine for random matches this weekend. 56 bucks CAD is crazy though.
Should I buy some or are they all sold out. I held off on buying cus the friend I have that like Valorant is on a trip, so I'd be going alone. Plus all the weekday matches are during works hours, which sucks because I'd be downtown anyway.
Is it worth it?
Has anyone had luck purchasing tickets for a reasonable price (recently)?
ik thats screwface but im trying to remember who perc30fishfillet is
Do mechatronics and work at Boston Dynamics making evil robots
Yeah but their rookie MaKo looks so shaky, I don't see him staying on the roster for long.
Dawg what's wrong with you, see's the word baby and thinks of something so horrific
We just use general discussion for anything at this point huh
Wait now im hungry for kebab i shouldn't have opened this thread
