But, do you have any regions that you wanted that they were more competitive? Like, Japan is not competitive right now, but a lot of people here want CR to represent them well and change this scenario.

Im a Furia Fan too, in Brazil i decided to cheer for Furia as i started to play valorant because i liked xand streams.

Apparently a lot of people are in the CR Hype. I confess that i want them to succeed too!

Not agaisnt my own region, but when they are not playing against BR haha

NA: I'm starting to like envy too, as i saw yay on FUR xand's stream and he a seem pretty cool guy.
EMEA: its impossible not to like boaster and i always cheered for Fnatic at League of Legends, so i hope they do well too

posted about 2 years ago

So this thread is for the NA/EMEA fans.

I was wondering which teams do you guys cheer when is a match that is not from NA/EMEA.

GTN will not pick yoru and they will not get out of the group stage because he is only god at Yoru.

SK were destroying most teams in the world until 2018.

They actually won all these A/S tourneys in 2017.

ESL Pro League Season 6 - Finals
BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2017
EPICENTER EPICENTER 2017
ESL One: Cologne 2017
Esports Championship Series Season 3 - Finals (ECS FINALS)
Intel Extreme Masters XII - Sydney

I know they dont exist anymore, but to say that they only were good in 2015-2016 is a lie.

I dont think Furia is going to win, but now i just hope that it will haha

posted about 2 years ago

He can play sova for the whole championship, but i just want one raze map. Please Keyd Stars, let me see Muzera play raze on international stage once haha

posted about 2 years ago

Me too, i hope that other regions come strong. Maybe CR, as there are some scrimbux saying that the japanese are good, or KRU for our latin friends :)

Looking at the discussion, I just want to see the Jett Operators of this group. They probably have 3 out of the top 5 jetts of the tournament in one single group.

Yay vs cNed vs Heat

No matter who qualifies, the games are going to be amazing between those three.

posted about 2 years ago

I hope this is not like Iceland, where people say that the BR teams are great in scrims and than they suck at the real tournament haha

I dont even want them to be gods, just want it to be competitive. Maybe get out of groups is a good step.

Ive played against him in ranked, but obv thats not the same thing. I think if there was no post plant, no judge, and no OP metas to abuse and the game properly balanced, he wouldnt be any sort of special IGL at all, open to being wrong on this one

My favorite streamers are probably VKS Sacy and FUR Xand.

He was late diagnosed with some problems in the thyroids, which made him gain weight, but even during his fat time he was really good.

But yeah, i miss the 2000's football, thierry henry, eto'o, rooney, beckham, zidane, ronaldo, ronaldinho, kaka, adriano, pirlo...

Ronaldo "The Phenomenom", it was one of the best players in history of soccer/football. He used to be considered the best at his time, he could be considered the best ever by some people, but got 2 really bad knee injuries that made him struggle a bit during the end of his career.

He won 2 world cups and got 3 FIFA Best player.

I dont think its worthy. Less than a dollar to be constantly called favela monkey.

posted about 2 years ago

I hope he stays at CS. Its better for his career, at least for now.

Most players that came from CS were not at their prime anymore. VINI is still playing at his normal level.

posted about 2 years ago

I used to be a huge CS fan, went to IEM Katowice once, and it was amazing.

But, nowadays CS is dead for me. Is only EU vs EU. NA dropped CS, BR does not have great teams anymore, and we barely see other regions trying as we did with Turkey, China and Australia.

In the other hand, Valorant is really nice to see, because we had 2 different regions winning the majors, korea has always one nice team to compete, Latin America have been fun to watch with KRU, and i still hope that BR will become competitive one day...

So I dont agree at all.

posted about 2 years ago

I was more hyped for Iceland masters, because it was the first time that the regions would face each other. But, i think Champions is much more hyped than Berlin and it will be in the future the biggest/more hyped tourney for valorant.

posted about 2 years ago

During iceland, if i remember correctly, one of the Top EU coaches said that vikings were one of the best teams and i think scream said the same thing in the press conference before iceland masters (i think he also congratulated sacy, if im not wrong).

But they didn't perform well in the end, i think that's what OP is saying.

posted about 2 years ago

What if the regions that we consider the worst are actually great, but they are just chokers? Maybe in the future we see Japan dominating all of us.

posted about 2 years ago

I agree with you, ranked does not mean much. However in a case of the first place in the world, I imagine that he can receive a chance to prove himself.

Btw, Mwzera is not famous, at least in brazil, because of his ranked history, it was because of his stats in the brazilian VCT and his highlights.

posted about 2 years ago

I hope you are right, because Aspas really need a structured team and a good IGL. While VKS really needs to get a nice duelist to replace GTN.

posted about 2 years ago

He is the top 1 ranked player in the World by points. Its an really young player that have been in the top 1 of brazilian radiant in every act, right now he is top 1 and top 2 of brazilian radiant.

posted about 2 years ago

They are only talking about Aspas, i dont know about the rest of the team. This team is ex slick players with some completes.

I truly hope is only Aspas from Slick. NIP can do better than mendes for example.

posted about 2 years ago

I find it really cringe when someone talks about "all time best". The game is out for less than 2 years, chill out.

Vivo is their main sponsor. It's a telecom company. Keyd Stars is the name of the team.

Its like Vodafone Giants. You can call them Vodafone Giants, or just Giants.

Plat chat is the only one that i consider good.

Most streamers are really boring. I will either watch the official brazillian one, or plat chat.

Not trying to be disrespectful to the other streamers, just my opinion.

He lived in Canada for some time when he played CSGO. He says that he can communicate, but he does not consider it fluent.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah sure, i completely agree with you, they dont need to follow strict lines, as they did with viper. I just dont know how balanced it would be to put skills like that on yoru.

If they do and its balanced, im fine with it haha

posted about 2 years ago

When GTN leaves the capsule he will bring champions to us. I have trust in the yoru god. haha

posted about 2 years ago

This way he would be almost an initiator, right? This would be used as a support skill and he already have the flashbangs like skye, breach and kayo. Idk if how balanced this would be, as information is always strong at fps games, but its interesting too.

posted about 2 years ago

Thats interesting, i've never thought of yoru as a jett alternative, but as a phoenix alternative. If he could use his tp to make something close to shooting an dashing, maybe he can become a good operator user.

posted about 2 years ago

I just wanted to see your opinion on that.

In my opinion this is not enough, but they should start by making his fake steps have the same sound as agents walking, as they sound a little bit different.

-gtn +jonn in VKS.

Im not trying to shame VK or anything, but I just dont know how it happened in 2015 and VK still hired him in the first place.

He is going to play Sova/Skye not raze.

I dont know if they should get aspas, as their problem does not seem to be getting great aimers (i think Furia as a collective has the best aim in BR). I think they have a really bad mentality, as KRU head coach said on reddit. Also, i see they needing a better igl, sometimes they rely a lot on aiming and looks like they are not thinking at all.

As the other kids on Furia, i hope aspas can get someone on his team that understand the things behind a tournament match, and know how to pass the knowledge ahead. Maybe saadhak has the will to do so, as he seems to be like a teacher for VKS, that why i imagined that the best path for him would be going to VKS.

DGzin is great and fulfill the role of awper though. Maybe - gtn - frz +dgzin +aspas ?

Some months ago i saw several people trying to understand what the "duas balas" was. There were some valorant pro's trying to explain the movement on youtube. They say that it is not that easy to learn after you already have your way of aiming/moving, he played a really strange fps before moving to valorant, i think it was called Zula, where you could aim and move maybe it was just natural to him to play like this.

I think its like CSGO pros that comes to valorant and keeps using this thing (you walk >>> and than click A before shooting, we call it "travar a mira" in brazil, i dont know the name of it in english), just because it does not harm their gameplay, even though you could only stop walking and than shooting in valorant.

Maybe new players will start playing like this in the future if it proves to be a better mechanic. Right now, they know that it confuses the other side, specially people that comes from CSGO, as they do not see the characters move like this in CSGO.

Sure, i just wished his first appearance in the international stage would be as raze and entry fragger, because its where he can shine the most, at least for now.

I dont know about aspas yet, in our domestic tournaments he played in a team that was imploding since the beginning, so i would like to see him play in a better and more organized team, that could set him up better. He is really good as second entry, he could play trading off kills after the first entry as he has great aiming and plays reyna. Maybe he can join VKS after champions.

This is way better than HLTV used to be, at least nowadays.

Im liking the val community so far :)

posted about 2 years ago

I dont think that most brazillians think that he is the best player in the world. He was the best player in our region until the second masters and he had, before the first international tournament the best stats in the world, some people outside brazil thought that he was going to be a monster when in international stage, but never made it.

I think that in this forum is mostly trembolonarage calling him the best player in the world, most of us believe that he is one of our best players, if not the best, but i dont see people saying that he is still the best in the world.

Right now, most people are hyped because he is going to play for the first time in international stage, but in my opinion he is way out of his confort zone. He is going to sub for a team that needs a sova and he mostly plays raze. We saw him in skye, he had some great aiming moments, but his utility usage was awful.

Im hyped to see if he can learn the utility position until champions, i know that he has the potential to learn and the aim to play.

Mwzera is not even the best player on his on team anymore...

I just hope people have treated heat's injuries. He went to Berlin with wrist injuries last time...

Heat is Jett

Jett is Heat.

posted about 2 years ago

Mwzera is supposed to have a level close to heat, im saying this because he had better stats than heat in the region during other vct.

However, tbh i think your post were made to offend Brazil, but you are actually being disrespectful at Japan, because you are using them as a metric for bad performance. Sure, they are not doing well, but they have been nothing but respectful to everyone here, and specially in competitive valorant reddit forum.

posted about 2 years ago

Im going to be completely honest, i didnt watch a single game of PRX yet.

But, depending on the odds for KRU, without being sentimental about my team and country, i think it makes sense. KRU is a team that usually scrims with the brazillian teams, so they are used to play them, probably know several of their strats (Heat go kill).

If the odds are too high for KRU i would bet on them myself, but if it is remotely close, i think that heat is playing great since brazillian VCT playoffs and i wouldnt bet against him in a 50/50 match.

posted about 2 years ago

Did you bet when Kabum/LG/VK appeared in the scene around 2015? I didnt bet, only watched, but i remember odds of 1% for LG and they going all the way to semi finals/finals.

There were some people in HLTV bragging a lot about their money after those matches haha
