I haven't played much of either Madrid or Warsaw, but I've not heard the best things about Warsaw. Madrid is generally chill

I think the best is Frankfurt, it's kind of a mixing pot so you get to play with people from every area in Europe, at higher ranks it's also the highest skilled server (most pros play on it)

Stockholm has a lot of Russians since they don't have their own server, but generally it's got the nicest people

London is nice if you get comms, but the lobbies are a bit easier

Avoid Paris at all costs.

yeah NA ranked is way more enjoyable than EU in my experience

I'm not a KOI fan, but I don't like how Riot just let in M8 after they throw a hissyfit, imo that type of behaviour shouldn't be rewarded

To me it seems like Riot kicked KOI out on a technicality so they can let M8 come back. (There were rumours of them doing this to BBL a few days ago)
KOI obviously haven't been great, I understand why Riot doesn't want them in the circuit but they handled this in a really shit way imo.

I would've much preferred for Riot to not extent their contract in 2027 over this mess.
M8 are better for the esport yes, but I really think they shouldn't be rewarded for throwing a fit (M8 staff have said that they would not compete in Valorant if they didn't get a VCT spot for 2026)

I say all of this as someone who really doesn't care about KOI, I'm just concerned about how Riot handles things

Assuming this is the whole story (which it probably isn't, so take what I think with a grain of salt)

I think Riot did them dirty for breaking the whole contract over just that, especially if what the KOI staff are saying about Riot not giving any warnings after their meeting is true, a fine or some other reprimand would've been much more suitable imo.

I also question why Riot felt the need to do this now, instead of at the end of the partnership cycle in 2027
