oh that team with two random tier 3 players who destroyed their tier 1 counterparts?
why are the betting odds in globals favour? I guess i'm bout to win some easy money
says the guy who only talks about how bad EMEA is
yep it feels like he can't fit into the modern awping playstyle
mCe is my second favourite coach just behind alecks but if I were to rank based off how well a coach does at improving a team mCe would be the best with little debate. He turned Geng into one of the best americas teams during challengers but then left and right after geng did horribly. He went to the guard and turned a tier 2 team which was unknown into the second best NA team and at one point the best. He turned trent into an amazing player and made sayaplayer look amazing. Now on C9 he made runi and jakee from tier 3 players into tier 1 players overnight. He also streams and give such good insight into what teams do and why they do certain things like when he explained in lots of detail as to why paper rex won against drx with reyna on bind and how it carried them.
not relevant to what I said and not sure how u interpretated my message as being correlated to yays 2023 performance but to answer your question last years stats can show a players potential and it may not be that important for 2023 it shows how good that player can be.
yep and they got like no apac viewers as it was monday morning at 6-7pm in indonesia and like 5pm in india and more around. So basically only like 10k viewers from apac or smth.
peaked at 408k and grand finals in americas peaks at 550k so it aint too bad.
I mean mCe is just such a good coach and is def top 5 best coach
did I say that? my point is he is not a one trick chamber and has found lots of success with jett as well and not just chamber. Nothing to do with him joining a team next year
yep even in sentinels 2021 he said like 1 word during the whole masters grand final.
bro if you look at fenis and his stats, kd, rating and kills they just go downn and down every single tournament. He has not done better than a previous tournament in terms of rating apart when he was on optic until now
I mean sentinels are good but are being held back by their attack side tbh. They just over complicate things like the coach said. I know that sounds dumb but their playbook is 2 pages deep and I think the players are overwhelmed and forgot certain strategies and what to do sometimes just because there is too much to remember.
his jett was also insanely good? have u looked at his jett stats compared to chamber stats?
that's sentinels and also its pretty much just him who does that and pancada as well sometimes. If you watch most other teams voice comms everybody is vocal.
honestly people will forgot. Tell me when was OCE's first international win or brazils first international win? Exactly people will just forget about it.
all players are vocal but an igl would make an important mid round call, end round call and pre round strat. thats the difference between the players and igl
Everything below is from the americas league.
firstly zekken had a 1.08 rating on average during the regular season in americas which is decent but not top 10 level. lets compare just in americas for now. Aspas is a very good raze and is def better than zekken I don't think there is a debate about that. Asuna has some crazy stats on raze like 283 acs on average, 0.21 first kills per round and a 1.17 rating on raze. Victor def above him and is prob even a better raze than asuna and finally xeppa is also a tiny bit better on raze than zekken. So I would have zekken as 5th or if ur lucky 4th in the americas league as a raze. hes not top 10 in the world bud
Another thing is that they absolutely destroy in scrims and before lock//in people said they were the best team in scrims and even just before the regular season in americas started they looked amazing in scrims but when it comes to the actual game the pressure just gets to them
in the past lev and 2021 kru since they got the same coach and a few of the same players I think. When you look at them they can very easily defeat teams that are rated the same as them but can never beat any teams which are decently favoured to win against them like over 3x betting odds. It's just that they can be very easy to adapt to and they fall under pressure. For example at champs 2022 in the first map against loud they were winning 8-4 at half time and then 12-6 but then loud won 8 in a row and beat them 12-14. Lev always seem to start off going like 5-1 and look incredible against any team but then after 7-16 rounds they just become very predictable and they just crumble. Their mental was so bad in the playoffs and just before. Lev should beat kru as the lev coach used to coach like 3 of kru's players but we will see.
so hes gonna join a franchised team bc hes shit? you really got him there.
zekkens raze is good but def not top 10 best raze
is this the coaching from Yay? from 0/16 to 18/17?
what team is this? huh? what?
https://www.vlr.gg/27184/insomnia-vs-hexad-champions-tour-japan-stage-3-challengers-2-ro8 2.13 by something
https://www.vlr.gg/62658/garys-crosshair-vs-bang-average-champions-tour-europe-stage-1-challengers-1-ro256 by keiko and then game after that he drops 1.9 https://www.vlr.gg/62757/twareg-esports-vs-bang-average-champions-tour-europe-stage-1-challengers-1-ro128
2.0 by keiko https://www.vlr.gg/153545/bonk-vs-bushido-g-loot-valorant-clash-showdown-eu-open-qualifier-ro128
there are so many more games with over 1.8.
Also urs is just one map. There are many players in tier 1 that have gotten more than 1.8 in a map but not in a game.
example: https://www.vlr.gg/189053/cloud9-vs-evil-geniuses-champions-tour-2023-americas-league-ubsf/?game=123169&tab=overview
example 2: https://www.vlr.gg/161216/cloud9-vs-kr-esports-red-bull-home-ground-3-sf/?game=106912&tab=overview
there are probably over 10 in tier 1 from this year alone.
wdym c9. Oh you mean that one time he played 2 matches for them.
when you don't have the username forty5
dont go so harsh on qwerty especially after "the incident" yesterday
ahh I see what's happening. This is valued in rupee not usd
you fell right into his trap
I mean I still don't get why people adore him. Key word here is "still". Sure he was the best player when the game first came out and people needed a team and player to follow which basically became Tenz for most people as he was the best. But he is no longer that good and is not even top 50 in the world. So if people no longer follow him for his skill then it must be his personality and content but if you ever watch his content it's super bland and boring. All he does is play ranked and talks about computers and mouse or his settings ect.. He doesn't actually have a personality outside of Valorant it seems.
mad cap but you dream on I guess
reyna is actually good on bind tho. If you look at one time in Jingggs steam when Tenz raids him jing wants tenz to play reyna and hinted towards playing reyna.
if Sen lose this I swear to god the fans would just give up on sentinels
I mean both teams will make roster moves unless one of them win the lcq and don't do absolutely terrible at champs
so true. "Actually, Team A trolled this match and played jett instead of reyna and Team A would destroy Team B if they didn't troll this one time".
