1) Die for you
2) Ticking Away
3) Fire Again

posted 8 months ago

wym friendly fire, fnatic is its own region by itself.

posted 8 months ago

EDG加油!

posted 8 months ago

I think platchat (bren, sideshow, mimi, wyatt, and balla) + vansilli + seangares + goldenboy aren't really that bad.

posted 8 months ago

no seangares + ddk combo and this is what you get

posted 8 months ago

where is the cope exaclty...? Unless you think PRX (with something) are really that far ahead like FNC is and that EG will continue dominating in the same fashion, this isn't really that bad of a conclusion.

posted 8 months ago

They should have lost to TL by all means 2-0 but TL threw haven like 11-6 or something. Also, throughout the tournament, they didn't look great. Like, they looked like a team that could make a run, but not win the entire thing.

Though, thats why you can mix and match the teams from 2-6 in any order.

posted 8 months ago

They become the first valorant dynasty. You can't really call a team the greatest of all time with a life span of only three years so far.

posted 8 months ago

I disagree. TL should have beat NRG if they didn't throw. And NRG throughout Tokyo looked worse than both teams imo.

posted 8 months ago

I think they are top 6 guaranteed, harder to argue top 4. With Fnatic at no.1, I feel like EG, NRG, PRX, EDG and maybe even TL (if you want to stretch it) can be mixed and matched within that tier.

posted 8 months ago

yeah, its gonna be exciting to see something vs kang kang.

posted 8 months ago

I don't know the scores at all. Sideshow and Bren were told this information from other pacific players and coaches about scrim results (which is why they rated EDG so highly within the power ranking). Here's the clip: https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxhW6o36FVUH3dXGDmrWG7nSYDwCFTRtCV

posted 8 months ago

Apparently, the scrimbux in pacific (including PRX w/ something) has revealed that EDG aren't only winning their scrims, but they are on a different level entirely. So, if PRX are what people view as the second best team in the world, and EDG is shitting on them (although, it is just scrims), then its kinda hard to argue them any lower than top 5, especially with their placement during Tokyo.

Personally, I'd put EDG in the same tier with NRG, EG, and TL (plus maybe PRX). You can kinda mix and match the rankings from there.

posted 8 months ago

Tokyo + scrimbux against PRX and the rest of Pacific allegedly.

posted 8 months ago

not as much cope as it is for navi to make it outta groups

posted 8 months ago

Lucky for me, EDward is so rich that he ain't letting Kang Kang leave.

posted 8 months ago

FUT go 1-2, NAVI and GIA go 0-2. TL and FNC are the only ones to make it through.

posted 8 months ago

aside from a few eu kiddos like you, that's kinda the sentiment here as well no?

posted 8 months ago

your team's neon clearly didn't work against any good team

posted 8 months ago

I think its like a 35-40% chance of a win from EDG. Aside from FNC, I think the rest of the teams below are somewhat even.

posted 8 months ago

I think BLG could potentially win a series

posted 8 months ago

difference is, when my team lost, it was to the third place team, when your team lost, it was to the 8th place team (also u got grouped).

posted 8 months ago

giants getting anywhere that far I think is pretty unlikely. EMEA aside from FNATIC and TL (I would have said NAVI before Tokyo and even maybe after Tokyo, but LCQ was a shitshow) is rather weak.

posted 8 months ago

They are listed as America #3 due to Tokyo.

posted 8 months ago

It lowkey did seem sketch how the groups were drawn (They even almost had DRX play PRX LMFAO). Either that or there was a teleprompter.

posted 8 months ago

PRX EDG
EG T1
FNC NRG
TL Loud

posted 8 months ago

watch as blg end up qualifying lmao

posted 8 months ago

maybe navi should have tried a bit more against giants...

posted 8 months ago

FUT below EDG, TL, and NRG (these three are interchangeable tbh). Loud I think will return stronger in champs but its hard to place them. DRX might be too high but again, maybe they cooked something up for champions.

posted 8 months ago

they better change the ending if they release new seasons, otherwise I'm throwing hands.

posted 8 months ago

Korean Manhwa: The Girl Downstairs
^ Adapted as a chinese anime: aishang ta de liyou

I think aside from the ending, this is a pretty solid story.

posted 8 months ago

I mean in eSports, its kinda old.

posted 8 months ago

Its not really a hot or cold take. It would be a hot take if he said FNATIC got grouped though. FNATIC are clear favorites but saying that they don't win isn't really a hot take tbh, especially since PRX might have been able to deal a blow against FNATIC if they had something.

posted 8 months ago

People call it a 'fake tourney' because not only was it single elimination, but a lot of teams were too fresh and haven't really tried any comps yet. It was a free for all basically with no real discipline other than fundamentals. A game like valorant is really reliant on strategy and Lock//In didn't have that to the same degree as 2022's events.

Though, people denying FNC are fools. They are the real deal by all means. The tournament being a little less competitive? Understandable, but it doesn't take anything away from FNC.

posted 8 months ago

They are the most consistent core, which is great, but they weren't really consistently winning big (though, who is anyways other than FNC atm). Honestly, I have more faith in the FNATIC core surpassing everything the NV core had.

posted 8 months ago

If marved is willing to stay, why drop him?

posted 8 months ago

Asuna and TenZ would have conflicting roles, and I'm not too sure how adaptable either of them are if they were to switch off of a flex role. Also, you generally don't want a sentinel igling so this doesnt really work (and if he doesn't play sentinel, who will?).

This doesn't make sense on many levels, and it has less to do with TenZ being good or bad, and more of whether or not he fits onto a roster like this.

posted 8 months ago

209 pb for 10 words. I think I can peak far higher depending on the setup and keyboard tbh

posted 8 months ago

The last time TenZ was really dominant on awp was either Iceland (even then, shahzam was better than him) or on c9

posted 8 months ago

is this like, comparing how dominant they were during their respective peaks? Cause if so, this isn't that bad tbh.

posted 8 months ago

Did something big happen tho? I only remember west jett from like the ignition days where he posted skins and shit on yt

posted 8 months ago

Zacharee and Rawkus weren't too great imo

posted 8 months ago

what happened to west jett?

posted 8 months ago

I mean, you guys can defend yay all you want for his performance, but throwing his teammates under the bus in such a weirdly subtle but obvious way just isn't right in my opinion.
