emea also had:

2 weeks less prep time than apac and the americas, with china having almost a month extra time to prep due to kickoff being prolonged (because of bugs/tech pauses etc in our region- having the worst pcs and internet out of all other regions but riot clearly didnt care for years)

besides fnc, every other emea team had to play as soon as they landed; tl couldnt play with their igl and star player for the first game and had to play with a sub (though penny is great, it isnt the same as having nats)

then kaajak had food poisoning for the whole event and so wasnt even playing at his best

there were so many disadvantageous things happening to emea that everyone thought the region was ass, when in reality, besides the lack of trophies to show for, we are probably one of the, if not the most competitive region..

nats is the only reason tl are finding such success (keiko and kamo look incredible too, but nats is by far the star player)

ofc they are, but a sentinel (for the most part) wont ever have the same assists as a controller or initiator as their playing completely different.

what CAN be measured on all roles however, are the kills, deaths, adr, acs, kast as these are stuff that every role has participation in (especially kast and adr)

true. prx dont have an "x factor", their whole team is insane; similarly the same as g2 where basically their whole team can carry if theyre feeling it

teams with that factor include fnc with alfa, tl with nats, geng with texture, spring with wolves, raga from xi lai, zekken from sen (just talking about the teams in toronto; cba to look at all the teams lol)

look.. ik boaster has the amazing calls and is literally knowns as one of the best igls in the game (alongside fns, saadhak and maybe valyn), but brother.. it gets to a point where no immaculate brain power is gonna compensate for your cant inability to hold your mouse; and especially not in a bo5 grand final where you made the lower bracket run and so have the veto disadvantage ontop of playing two bo5s back to back

ik its such a risk to make such a move though since hes one of the core members and has been the igl since forever at this point; he also does amazingly for the vibes, but when his vibes are shot; the whole teams is too

fnc already has 4/5 people who are sort of vibes merchants (boaster, kaajak, alfa and crashies); so i doubt one leaving would change the dynamic to the point where fnc become shit. but again it is so risky to replace an igl of all roles..

if fnc decides to be like "screw the vibes, what we need is an igl who CAN frag and still be a potential top 5 caller" and goes for nats > boaster, maybe they'll see progress

every other "superteam" if you will, has all 5 players who can flip a round just like that, and a few have one or more x factors in addition.

there should be no world where alfa is on track for the kill record in 4 maps, and they lose 3-1..

leo may never come back at this rate and crashies is looking good tbh (not as good as leo obv but hes still amazing at times); kaajak is a rookie and has spurs where he looks like a new derke or aspas, but hes still inexperienced for now; chron and alfa on the other hand are hard carrying this team for the most part and it feels like if they dont get a 3k, they lose the round a lot of the time.

having a player like nats as the igl will fix a lot of the issues as he was able to solo carry tl and actually make them very strong (tl has the individual skill but werent consistent); but nats is legit like 2-3 people on his own at times

either way, enough rambling lmao, ggs prx

they need to drop boaster and add nats..

since no one knows if leo is coming back, hes the perfect solution for fnc rn..

idk ngl.. david and forsaken together have saved prx at least 10 rounds so far..
