• Order and Peace unable to attend NA LCQ 2021 due to "covid" reasons (they had champs berlin a month later with 16 international teams)
• franchising as a whole, yes order went bankrupt however PWR had also applied but riot didn't "trust them"
• because of franchising international appearances went from 3 down to 1
• Riot had bet on bonkers not winning ascension 23 and didn't even tell them what the situation would be until they made play offs (if an org would even be able to sign them)
• made Lets Play Live, a notoriously shit company run OCE challengers meaning players and teams just weren't getting paid while LPL ran off with the money
• cut OCE challengers the year tier 2 has an opportunity to make champs

i know most of you don't care and not even i would read allat, but its just frustrating when literally every external factor is against you. its pretty obvious riot has not cared abt OCE from the start so why even bother and tbh its not all riots fault we're just so geographically challenged, Just wanted to see my country do good that's all :/

we have talented players but honestly we just get fucked geographically. Players have to cough up money from there own pocket just to have a chance to try out/trial for t1/t2 teams. It's annoying because I know if teams actually took the chance on these players they would dominate (autumn for example wasn't even that great in OCE) can't blame the teams tho, just a sucky situation (ALSO FUCK LPL WHERE IS SPLIT 1!!!!!)
