Sad how the season ended for FPX they rlly overcooked this last match but oh well. Overall really happy with how much better they've become, no longer the laughing stock of valorant esports like last year. Really impressed with autumn as well bro went from playing duelist to be one of the most flexible and consistent players this game has seen, hopefully this puts some more eyes on OCE valorant (maple, swerl, tixx etc)
Overall you can say unlucky group and what not but i believe you gotta beat the best to be the best, hope to see autumn on a pacific team next year or a team he can properly communicate on BOL to sen and heretics

I agree tournaments in general are impossible to predict, I just do pick ems and power rankings for a little bit of fun and don't take them too seriously, I'm not gonna get upset/mad at whatever team wins it because they deserve it.

im not sure why people are so down on naos? they were one map away from the grand final last year and they've only gotten better since then in my opinion

I've watched some more SPG after I posted this and I agree I should've put them a little higher (probably 4 or 5). I like how they're pushing the meta forward but like i said in the post 4-7 is completely interchangeable in my opinion.

tbh it's just impressive to hate on something this long

idk feel like korea last ascension fell short and don't think this roster is a big upgrade

1. BOOM Esports - Really strong core that has been playing together for years and were pretty close last year except that choke to bleed on haven
2. Full Sense - pretty much same reason as boom, solid veteran talent and cracked young players like johnolsen and leviathan should go crazy
3. DSG - probably the most cracked team in terms of mechanics, worried that they won't be able to run over the top talent at this tourney with double duelist every map

4. RIDDLE ORDER - incredible run from them in split 2, however I do think japan tier 2 is not as strong compared to some other regions (home crowd buff tho)
5. NAOS - (assuming they win) been very dominant in their region all year and had a good showing at last years ascension
6. SIN PRISA GAMING - extremely dominant showing from them in split 2 however other then persia not too familiar with their talent
7. JFT - They play simple yet effective valorant however incorporating iso into most maps could be their biggest strength or weakness. murza and andy cracked aimers

8. Revenant Esports - IMO the best talent SA has sent to an international they should get their win this event but not much else
9. Rapid Lofi - excited too see some new talent coming out Vietnam however seems like some inexperienced players
10. Oblivion Force - They kinda got here by default since ONE team threw by running a 7 man roster or something but still players like coconut and uta should hold their own

Overall take this with a grain of salt as I'm unable to watch every single one of these teams play all their matches. I really think 1-3 and 4-7 could be in any order that's how close I think these teams are. Just wanna see a competitive and fun tourney :D (also wanted to add I really hate this years format, last years was perfect why'd they change it ?)

i'm open to discussion but I feel like this creates a much more exciting league with better match ups and rivalry's. Because bffr for a minute NOBODY wants to see a team like Naos, full sense or boom just dominant like 4 free agent teams in a split. It also makes it so much easier for casual viewers to keep with APAC as a whole (promising new talent and potential ascension winners)
