Valorant offers more team cooperation and ability usage rather than raw mechanical aim (don't get me wrong though, cracked aim is definitely important). In a country with significantly less populations than major regions like NA or EU, you will statistically have a smaller number of mechanically skilled gamers. Therefore, Koreans rely on other aspects of the game where they excel at, specifically utility usage and team coordination, hence why they are generally worse at games with less mechanical skill such as CSGO and better at more utility and team cooperation ordinated games like LOL and Overwatch.

I seriously doubt he picked up a new agent on map he never plays her on days before a tourney, probably has been practicing it for a while

nobody is going to be experimenting new tactics and strats days before a major tourney....

Yes but it shows that Sen can be beat by teams from other regions

VS have apparently beaten Sentinels in scrims.

Vlr.gg post summarizing today's events at Berlin found here

In this post, Vlr.gg writes how Vision Strikers head coach termi was interviewed on the Korean Broadcast claiming they had beaten Sentinels in scrims.

Quote from article:
"Even in scrims they did so well. Our results are mostly similar but we've beaten almost all the teams here… Yes, even Sentinels,” termi finished, to the Korean broadcast's surprise."

He said that specifically in a response to me tho, even though I previously mentioned exactly what they complained about.

Did i say 100T didn't deserve their win??? If anything, I even credited them for pulling through well and making the comeback. Stop trying to stir up a non-existent argument that nobody wants to hear.

I wouldn't exactly say Gambit got "rekt" by 100T. (In my opinion) Gambit were still the better performing side with way higher k/ds and even more round wins, it's just that they kind of threw and 100T pulled through well.

I think he meant that as a response to that salty guy who mentioned Japan earlier even though the guy before him had mentioned sea

I'm not underrating PRX. VS just had some poorly thought out and uncoordinated site entries and retakes, regardless of if PRX is good or not.

I really like VS and hope they win, but you really think they will edge it out over Acend? They looked a bit disappointing with their extremely close match against PRX. (hopefully they were strat saving or something)

posted about 2 years ago

Bruh. You ranked KRU a potential 3rd best team at Berlin?

posted about 2 years ago

I like VS but i have to agree with you. Acend just look better. The only somewhat justified argument someone can use is that VS were just saving strats and have more up their sleeve while Acend had to actually tryhard a lot and give everything they had against SMB since SMB had beaten them in their previous matchup in the EMEA tournament and they didn’t want to risk anything.

Did I say you denied that it's impossible?

posted about 2 years ago

somewhat agree: seeding is basically the only way to measure up and compare teams with one another in terms of how good each team is from their respective regions, but then again, most games from na and emea are neck and neck and seeding usually means nothing to determine the outcome and winner

posted about 2 years ago

i mean.... it happened before right? (although I don't think it will happen, I'm just saying it is possible)

posted about 2 years ago

I haven't payed attention to whether or not the location of seating matters on your seed, but if it is then that's actually a really solid assumption.

posted about 2 years ago

just because Sen picked it doesn't mean 100t are not good on that map and just because they picked it doesn't mean some sort of guaranteed win for sen

posted about 2 years ago

calm down kid. ofc there can be upsets and exceptions with teams winning other's map pick, but in general, in a bo5, you play more maps and if you are the worse team, the chance of playing the map which you're the best at and winning one is higher than if you were to play in a bo3

posted about 2 years ago

In a BO3 the chance of 100t best map being banned is higher than in a BO5

posted about 2 years ago

Yes but in a BO5 you play 2 more maps than in a BO3 so if that match was not a 5 map game then the odds of the map that 100t won on would be banned or not played would be much higher.

posted about 2 years ago

The point is that in a BO5 you have a way better chance of winning at least a single map then in a BO3.

I can agree with being excited for seeing VS on their first international stage but that's probably it at least for me.

is there a problem?

unlikely f4q would clean sweep the whole group, but would love to see

posted about 2 years ago

We're talking about teams from different regions scrimming each other at Berlin, not TSM and some random team you can't even name.

You keep going back to your same argument that there's more viewers of Indian Valorant (which actually is not really true other regions get way more views). Regardless, idk how else to say it but I'll repeat it again. Just because more people watch Indian games doesn't mean the players are better and deserve some sort of greater recognition. Just be patient and Riot will slowly incorporate more and more regions.

posted about 2 years ago

Just because India has more viewers (1.4b population so no duh they'll have more viewers) doesn't translate to better quality teams who deserve more just because they have more fans.

bro shut up, I like VS too but don't be toxic and just enjoy and appreciate the games

You straight out challenged the person and created a reason to argue in the first place. You continuing to argue right now is only helping to prove my point.

posted about 2 years ago

The other person in no way was trying to cause any issue and was looking for genuine opinions with the community. You're the only one unnecessarily challenging and making fun of him/her trying to have a friendly conversation putting it in quotes ("a friendly conversation with the Valorant community") and sarcastically replying "let me know how that works out for ya". I hope you realize that you continuing to argue is just only proving my point lol

posted about 2 years ago

It is supposed to be a friendly conversation. If it's not, it's because of people like you.
