I see your point but I feel that in maps like Split or Bind, utility is even more oppressive than on Ascent. In the end, it's pretty subjective and varies from person to person.
I play sova too and the walls are paper-thin :) so another reason I like the map
wdym you don't get a fair gunfight? what's wrong with using utility?
After all, utility usage integrated with the fps genre is what distinguishes this game from others and makes it unique.
I mean, from my experience, that's what I see. But different strokes for different folks, am I right? >:)
In-n-out 😋🍔
Only on the west coast tho so lucky me
If you go on Reddit for example where map votes often take place, Ascent usually wins in a landslide victory.
I think Ascent offers pretty creative gameplay. Especially in ranked, teams rarely comm and do good team plays like split-pushing Split B site through heaven and main for example. Ascent seems to be the one map (and Fracture to some degree) that are catalyst maps that promote more map control, smarter gameplay, and generally better teamwork.
I second this notion but we've seen so many of these threads before it's getting a bit old. You're not accomplishing anything by reposting the same threads flaming the same regions over and over again.
nah, it offers pretty good gameplay imo
Ascent one of the best maps
Haven pretty good
Fracture I'm liking the more I play
Icebox I'm ok with
Dislike Breeze since I don't like such long range and open maps but I know plenty who like the map just for that reason so pretty opiniated
Bind and Split are also ok maps but tend to offer pretty repetitive gameplay but I still somewhat enjoy playing
Hopefully with more and bigger orgs entering, Korean players will stay domestically and not have their already small talent be pulled away to other regions with orgs offering more money.
lol that guy is an attention seeker?
then what about making an excess number of threads on every time an Indian team beats a random T3 sea team
darn you beat me to it
Hey that's a good sign. You're only 16. I remember growing quite a bit since when I was 16 about a year ago. There's no concrete way of checking if you're going to hit a growth spurt or not but things like comparing the amount of hair you have, deepness of voice, and other factors attributed to maturity are often decent indicators. ig the most professional way would be to go see a doctor and not take the advice of a vlr.gg user :)
Ok I have a question. How much facial hair do you have compared to men in your family like your dad or any brothers or uncles you may have? srry if this sounds creepy or anything but its often a decent indicator of how much more you have left to mature
For example, my dad is white and he's basically like a gorilla. He's covered in body hair from head to toe and has a bunch of facial hair. My mom is asian, and her brothers (my uncles) have a bit less hair but still have patchy bits of facial hair along their jawlines and around their mouths. As for me, I'm 17 about 180 cm tall (5'11 I live in the US but don't use feet and inches it sucks, cm and meters are way better) and have absolutely no facial hair even tho men on both sides of my family have more than me. Basically, my family/doctors and most others are saying that i'm likely to hit another growth spurt. :)
Then again, 🤔 there's some more drastic things you can always do like height lengthening surgery which I don't exactly recommend.
The global 16 year old male height is 5'7, about 170 cm. Don't feel bad m8. Everyone is different. There is no "perfect" person in this world. Your height is what makes you unique. 🤗

I still think Gambit was the best team of the year. Easily sweeping through the previous tourney, and if you look at stats for their match vs Acend, they had undeniably better statistics, kind of unlucky they lost. (not to discredit Acend tho)
On the contrary, I thought that the explanation of the round swaps was very logically explained and reasonable. Acend played 6 rounds where the exploit was used. Riot swapped all six rounds in favor of Acend (effectively 4 since Acend had won 2 of those rounds) plus 2 rounds for economic damage after losing 4 potentially winnable rounds (not even considering the economic loss of picks gone against Acend even in the 2 rounds they won due to map knowledge garnered by the illegal cam).
The final decision to do a rematch after Riot had ruled in favor of Acend was because of the huge uproar from the Brazilian community who were spamming things like #JusticeforVivoKeyd on Twitter and trying to play the victim card even though it was the Brazilian team using the exploits.

thanks for giving viewers such a great tourney <3
bruh really? do they really have that little left to do in life?
hellff mvp no questions asked
True, but I'll reiterate what I said earlier about the generally lower level of competition at Reykjavik. As time goes on, the level of competition, strats, and overall gameplay will be at a much higher level. As the first ever international tournament for the game with a considerably smaller amount of agents and maps, the results their will become less and less reflecting of reality in the future.
Still abiding to what I said. Kru has been playing phenomenally with incredible teamwork while Sen has been relying solely on individual skill with lack of creativity and depth in their strategies.
No. Invest into Qualcomm semiconductor stocks. 📈
then make a profit and buy even more skins >:)

Not exactly. Those 5 maps could be very favorable to one specific team's style and gameplay mentality and not to others. By adding a wider variety of maps that offer new and unique strategies, it can help new teams be potential challengers to the few proven teams which excel on that small map pool, provided their teamwork and style excels on new maps, thus raising the number of players/teams competing and increasing the overall competition level.
English is just the most widely accepted lingua franca cause of colonization and stuff like that but that doesn't stop me from knowing 4 languages fluently flex flex (Europeans probably know more tho lol)
nah more like a combination of both
