The Japanese is so wholesome, everyone is writing "glhf" in chat before the match compared to English streams with everyone flaming each other and spamming insults.

VS was always the hype in Korea since their 100+ match win streak.
They lost during their qualification run to Iceland against 2 other Korean teams despite Korea being "a one team region."
Another Korean team went to represent their region at Iceland, knocking out teams from Brazil and NA to end at a very respectable 3rd place finish.
VS went on to qualify for Berlin, smashing their group and easily beating teams like Acend. They were unlucky to face Gambit the first game after groups, who were looking like the best team by a long shot, and lost 2-1, being the only team to even take a map off them after groups. VS was statistically the 2nd best that tourney.
F4Q also qualified, convincingly taking several maps off G2 and Sen, despite being an unsalaried group of streaming friends. Even though they were eliminated, they nevertheless showed they could also compete at the highest level due, as mentioned before, they were able to compete neck and neck with some of the favorites.
