Problem is I don't think they will ever buff brimstone/omen again if they don't nerf Astra before. If you think about it, Astra is getting pretty irritating already. She has too much utility. If they nerf her enough, we would get to a previous state of the game where omen/brimstone were viable.
Omen/brimstone just need Astra nerfed to be viable again as smokes are still needed.
Brim would be more prevalent on maps like Bind, Haven or Fracture, and Omen utility would be on par with Astra's one

It's just that it's weird for some players, let's take nAts as an example. He usually plays just Cypher and Viper. That would mean that only his Cypher games will count and his sample would be pretty small. It's probably not a big deal but I find it a bit problematic idk

Edit: also Viper for example is played as the "anchor" on maps like Bind. That is, the "sentinel" role, but she isn't technically a sentinel agent ingame

Some personal criticism for next editions: there should be some kind of flexibility on agents and their role. For example: there are maps where usually no sentinel is played OR the "sentinel" player usually prefer to play other agents on the map (sentinel players picking viper on Icebox, many players from different roles picking Sage as a filler on so many maps, etc.)
