TLDR: men are better at valo due to social conditioning and women’s history with video games. Women will catch-up eventually, we already have a few female players approaching challengers level.

Women don’t have any disadvantage to men in esports inherently.
However, video games were considered men’s games for a long time, there was less support for women going pro, not to mention that women face ridiculous amounts of sexism for just playing in general, so they are still catching up to the experience of the avg male pro.
Valorant is one of the first fps games with such a large female player base in the first place, men weren’t enormously talented (compared to today) at css or cs 1.6 either
For an example, Japanese valo pros are far worse than NA pros. Does that mean that NA are genetically better at fps than Japanese players???? No, NA just has more tac fps experience, and the same thing is true for women on a greater scale.
