I can tell you after watching Chinese Valorant for as long as I have and what happened at champs that AG, TYL, JDG(Especially this team), and TEC will not improve in any meaningful ways, the only one that might improve is FPX. Also I don't trust 100T to win anything much less an international trophy.

First, the tech issues added to why it was a mickey mouse, also champs hasn't had hour long tech pauses.

Second, just because stage 2 was starting and they had time constraints doesn't make it any less mickey mouse.

Third, and ah yes a tournament where TEC made it over every other Chinese team because TEC is a good chinese team, or PRX playing qualifiers with mindfreak and the pacific qualifier top 4 having TS and GE which are two of the bottom three teams in the region. All of that screams that the good teams tried.

Out of the teams you've mentioned, only Sen, TLN or T1 even have a slim chance to make it out of groups

1. Not part of VCT
2. It was right after masters Toronto which means that the teams that were there had less time than the one who weren't or were eliminated early,
3. it also split China stage 2, so the chinese teams were already playing in the new meta and had to switch back to the previous patch
4. It started with a single maps and only then went into 2 maps
5. A lot of teams were either playing with Subs, testing new rosters, hiding strats or just running past strats instead of using anything innovative
6. Single Elimination playoffs
7. The qualifications for teams that weren't top 2 at stage were really hectic where technically coaches could just talk to their players
8. A lot of tech issues
9. Some teams like Wolves, TL, and other good teams didn't qualify because they didn't try hard in the qualification matches, so there ended up being teams like KC, and BBL who aren't terrible and then TEC(which is terrible) which are obviously not the best out of the teams that could have been there.
