So basically I had 2k VP which was gifted to me by a friend on my birthday, and I was holding them for recon (I wanted kurunami but I was short of VP so recon was my 2nd choice). I was just randomly surfing on the internet and the Microsoft rewards tab caught my eye. I used to farm that in lockdown and I had managed to cash in like 5k inr which is around 57 us dollars which I used to buy irl stuff. There used to be a glitch in 2022-2023 where you could switch countries with VPN and keep farming the limit in different countries. But the moment they patched it, it became extremely difficult to do anything so I just left it. So basically, there were just 6k Microsoft points just sitting there, and I saw that you could get a LoL gift card for 575 RP. Then I saw it could be used in all games of riot. My joy was through the roof and I immediately rushed to redeem it, I could finally buy kurunami now. But then after I redeemed it I realized it said it was RP and I was instantly heartbroken. I then just redeemed the code, expecting RP, BUT THEN WHEN I REDEEMED IT I GOT 475 VP INSTEAD OF RP. Then I realized it said 575 RP IN LoL, so it converted it into equivalent VP. I was so happy again. What an emotional roller coaster
